1	A Town Like Alice (Rape of Malaya) (1956, Unrated) This movie is a tearjerker from start to finish. Right at the very start everytime i watch it i call out at the tv "Jean dont answer the phone,just leave" but obviously each time she doesnt and that is when she can not help to go and help her employers family and her journey begins.

4	What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1960, Unrated) Brilliant,twisted and entertaining. No matter how many times i watch this movie it always remains one of my favourites.
5	Carve Her Name with Pride (1958, Unrated) This movie is simply amazing. It tells the story of a London shopgirl called Violette Bushell whose normal life changes drastically when her husband,who is a French soldier,gets killed in action. Violette shows great bravery and courage. The acting is amazing especially Virginia McKenna and Billie Whitelaw. The Life That I Have The life that I have Is all that I have And the life that I have Is yours The love that I have Of the life that I have Is yours and yours and yours. A sleep I shall have A rest I shall have Yet death will be but a pause For the peace of my years In the long green grass Will be yours and yours and yours. Get your tissues ready.

24	Bunny Lake Is Missing (1965, Unrated) Bunny Lake is Missing is about a missing 4 year old girl. Her mother and uncle have just moved to the UK from the USA and they enrol Bunny into school. It all sounds very average but the weird thing is we do not actually see Bunny and the movie gets us thinking is Bunny real or an imaginary child the mother made up during her childhood. The film keeps you guessing and towards the end turns quite dark and chilling. I guessed the outcome but my husband got it completely wrong.
