My Favorite Documentaries

A fantastic documentary. Spelling Bees are not quite as boring as I once thought.

One of my all time favorite Documentaries. So beautifully made and so interesting. I only wish there was more. I wish it was longer.

Michael Moore at his best. I've seen this over 10 times and it never gets old.

This documentary is about the relationship between 2 men and 1 woman who are married to eachother. They live together, they love eachother and they have children together. This lifestyle like no other is represented in this film. There are ups and downs, extreme downs like any other relationship. It is interesting to see how this all works and how each member feels. I would recommend this film to anybody with an open mind and curiousity.

It was a well-made documentary, but I felt that nobody sympathized with the victims, only with the child molesters. It was a strange view on the topic of child molestation. Looking at it through the eyes of the abuser. Haunting scenes followed by eerily cheerful music.

I'll never think of a Paper Clip in the same way again. I can't believe it went that far. Definetly a must see.

Wow. what an eye-opening experience. I cannot believe what children in Child Protective Services are forced to endure. Everyone needs to watch this film, maybe then something can finally be done about the injustice.

What a powerful documentary. I can't believe this actually happened. 909 people died from drinking Kool Aid laced with Cyanide, They even injested cyanide into babies and children, all on the commands of this one man. It's so sad and leaves me wondering, how powerful cults can be. How they can brainwash hundreds, thousands of people in giving up everything and following a leader to death. I was left shocked and amazed. This is truely a must see documentary but it is not for everyone.

What a beautifully made film. I have never known a deaf person before, I had no idea that someone could be happy being deaf and not want to take the opportunity available to hear. Very eye-opening. Higly recommended to fellow documentary lovers.

Very revealing documentary. I was shocked by what I saw. Children fending for themselves from such young ages. Sleeping on the ground, going hungry, getting high off paint and getting beaten....all this occured while adults passed by them in the subways and on the street. Girls shave there heads and dress and act like boys so they won't be raped. Parents unwilling to take their children back and a government with little if any support. I was discgusted. But it had to be brought to the publics attention.

I am Dying to see this film. But I can't seem to find it playing in any theater.

Definetly one of the most crazy films I have ever seen.

This films scares the shit out of me. Watching it once is more than enough. Although it was brilliantly made, I hate to think of kids like this.

Interesting look at gay and lesbian people in the past. Well known people who hid their secret. Also follows the struggle of a current day youth.

These people definetly have a "reel obsession". And I thought I was a movie finatic....so so so far off. Lol. Anyways, It was an okay documentary at best. However, I was not able to connect with the people in anyway. But the line spoken "Film is a form of living", truely hit me. Because sometimes I do feel like i'm living life through the depiction of it in films.
