A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984, R)
I'm a fan of this genre, and this was one of the first horror movie i saw. So, it kinda holds a special place and i've always like how Freddy Krueger was so scary and funny at the same time. This movie is an example of old school horror/slasher films that made a lot of sense. |

I think it was a little weird. Rob Zombie's take on Michael Myers' origin was bad to me. I think he couldn't figure out if he wanted to remake the original or shoot it from his own prospective. I did kinda enjoy some of the dead scenes the he did. But, this film is plagued with bad acting. |

The was the best slasher movie made to me. I'm still more of a "Nightmare" guy, but this was a better movie. It was a scary and frightening flick! |

I'm gonna be honest. I wasn't scared watching this movie. However, i thought it was good. It was filmed better than blair witch, and the actors in this flick made me feel like it was real for them. I wish i could say it scared me like everyone else, but it just wasn't. I guess you will have 2 see it for yourself. |
