Pride and Prejudice (2005, PG)
Love, love, love, this adaptation (much easier to watch than to read). One of the best period peices of our time. The visuals were amazing, the actors were fitting, and the filmscore... it all transported you to the 19th century. Matthew Macfayden was the sexiest Mr. Darcy - I wanted to smack Elizabeth for refusing him the first time he proposed! Definitely a chick flick though, obviously, so boyfriends - beware. |
