Excluding – Seven, Life is beautiful (Vita è bella, La), Saving Private Ryan, and, Raise the red lantern (Da hong deng long gao gao gua), which are all on my ‘movies I really want to see’ list – which films have I overlooked? Powerful, and worryingly convincing - this film has nothing to do with real life. The film preaches to the naive and the misguided. Unfortunately, that audience is significant in number. This is a dangerous film. |
