Thumbsucker 4.5 Stars
i enjoyed this movie.. the story was relevant and inspiring and not at all the typical and cliche life of a teenage kid. not a movie you can just sit and watch for the sake of it, kinda requires some thought and concentration to appreicate it

The Chumscrubber (2005,  R)
The Chumscrubber 4.5 Stars
i found it irisitably entertaining and clever. i loved it..... the parallels made between the zombie infested nuclear wastland setting of the (fictional?) game the chumscrubber and the setting of the actual movie (a suburbia... dream town: so happy it makes you want to kill yourself) a realistic and innovative to the story... a must see for all fellow media geeks :D

wow this really blew me away, it was disturbing and amusing, very dark, using interesting actors to portray even more interesting characters... its better in french with subtitles than the voice over tho

this film really made me think. it has a strong message, and left me feeling almost empty, like my soul had been crushed, but incredibly enlightened
