I may be bias when it comes to rating these films but what can I say...he is remarkable!!!

Sadly I don't own all of these classics. Some are out of print and extremely hard to come across.

1
Singin' in the Rain (1952,  G)
Singin' in the Rain
one of my favorite Gene Kelly films.
2
Invitation to the Dance (1956,  Unrated)
Invitation to the Dance
completely underrated by critics. He deserved far more recognition for his outstanding talent in this film.
3
Gene Kelly - Anatomy of a Dancer (2002,  Unrated)
Gene Kelly - Anatomy of a Dancer
Not a movie but still fantastic....exploring the life of the late, great Gene Kelly! A must see for fans.
4
The Pirate (1948,  Unrated)
The Pirate
A lot of critics frowned at this film...one reason because of Gene's mustache. Give me a break, obviously they can't look past that and appreciate this man's outstanding talent. Boo to any critic who rates this film low!
5
Summer Stock (1950,  Unrated)
Summer Stock
Next to his famous scene in Singin in the Rain, the dance sequence in this movie where he uses anything at his disposal including an old newspaper for this number was absolutely remarkable.
6
Anchors Aweigh (1945,  Unrated)
Anchors Aweigh
Again, hard to choose favorites of his but I just can't get tired of this one either. ..and Kathryn Grayson ..what a beautiful voice. Not to mention the famous scene where Gene dances with Jerry the mouse. Love it! Oh and kudos to "The Family Guy" show for using that same scene with Stewie. Had to add that to my video favorites.

The people ride in a hole in the groun'.
New York, New York, it's a helluva town!!"
--- Never been to this state but plan on singing...or rather humming this tune upon arrival. (if I ever go) And yes... I realize how geeky that sounds. :o)
