The first, and best of this series of movies. Ridley Scott did a fantastic job of capturing the claustrophobic terror of this unfortunate crew as they get picked off by a horrific alien, one by one. A true horror classic.

Dumb, alien fighting fun. But what do you expect from a title like this? I like it!

I wasn't overly impressed with this one. Too dark, the human characters were insipid, and the Predator had no character development (at least the first AVP gave the Predator some personality). And who was the woman in the final scene? Was she supposed to be important for some reason? This just didn't do it for me.

Bruce Campbell does what he does best in this film about an alien takeover of Earth. He wisecracks and postures his way through, much to our amusement.

Crap, crap, crap.

Wes Craven, what is this? For all the hits that he has had, he sure made a lot of stinkers - like this one for example.

Wow! Was this ever boring! For some reason, I had very fond memories of watching this thing in the 1980's - but now I ask "Why?" It must have been all the drugs I was taking back then. Anyway, if you can get this cheap it might be worth a few giggles. Otherwise, avoid it.

Very strange and spooky gothic sci-fi/horror/film noir. Definitely original and very creepy at times. I recommend you see it!

Doom
(2005, R)
I thought I would hate this film but I was wrong. This is actually a lot of fun, and not a bad horror story. I also like the fact that 'The Rock' did not turn out to be the mighty hero in this one.

This thing is a hoot, and exactly what I expected! This is a gore-soaked, campy, high-energy movie that made me laugh out loud numerous times. I highly recommend it if you like your horror movies with a twisted and slightly deranged mentality. Lots of fun for everyone.

This movie should be forgotten. As quickly as possible.

Amazing sfx unfortunately couldn't save this rather lame Kevin Bacon vehicle. Claude Raines original "Invisible Man" was far better.

Lon Chaney, Jr. does a great job in this one. It's basically another version of Frankenstein, but with a different slant.

This movie is so refreshingly stupid, I can't help but love it. The title says it all.

This thing is hilarious! It's the perfect send-up of the old sci-fi/horror films that I grew up on. And there is some hilarious deadpan dialogue too!

This thing is hilarious. Super-cheesy story with a mad scientist and really stupid-looking robot monster thing running amok. Some of Lugosi's finest work!

This was a great spooky and atmospheric sci-fi/horror tale. Original story with likeable characters. Pretty impressive starring debut for Vin Diesel. Too bad the sequel for this sucked.

One of Arnold's best non-Terminator roles. There's lots of action mixed in with some cool thrills from the evil nasty alien. The showdown at the end is awesome.

This might have been a decent movie without Danny Glover. He is such a terrible actor, that he completely ruined this. It's too bad Arnold didn't return for this one.

I've seen this and I can't remember anything about it. I can't even remember if I liked it.

I've seen this and don't remember a darn thing about it. What does that tell you?
