Alright, I'm just gonna get right into this one... as we all know, Will Farrell has done some flops lately, Blades of Glory really wasn't a funny movie, you die-hard Farrell fans may disagree, whatever, it wasn't funny. His last semi-descent movie was Talladega Nights and that was what? 2 years ago... This film was a definite flop, very unfunny, most unfunny comedies have their alright funny moments, this one had less than three 'laugh out load' worthy moments, they were few and far between and not memorable after all, as for the plot, I suppose it was alright, even though it was a lost cause and they knew it from half-way through the movie, yet they still go for it. Farrell's performance was very lacking, I just didn't feel the vibe he gives off when he's being funny, it wasn't there. I would say this movie was Semi-Good, but then I'd be thinking far too highly of it. |
