I hate this film. another one that shows just how bad a film student I am, but I just can't focus on a film that has such little dialogue. Or action. Or plot.

Steve Carell was such a God in this film. Funnier than dodgeball and the other 'Frat Pack' movies, imho

Got it when I was into Matthew Broderick. I remember being bored by it, but I'm sure there's a reason I gave it three stars

A lot of people bad mouth this movie, but I think it shows a werewolf would definitely win in a fight with a vampire.

The best bit in this movie was seeing the private lives of the henchmen that get killed. And their pronunciation of sherbert. Otherwise, not as good as the sequels

Waaay better than the first

What can I say about this movie? Besides "It sucks and I hate it", of course. I think the main reason I despise this movie is because despite of how bad it is, and it's shamefully bad, I will watch it again in my lifetime, probably more than once.

My new favourite movie. It doesn't have the same feel to lots of other comic book movies, and it's worlds apart from the '90s series of batman films, but I'd say it's one of the finest comic-book movies ever made. Christian Bale rocks, as does Liam Neeson and Cillian Murphy, who is both incredibly gorgeous and utterly terrifying. Not usually at the same time, though.

This was an odd film, in that none of the characters were that likeable, except maybe Cameron Diaz's character. But it was entertaining in a surreal way, and it looks smashing.

This film got mixed reviews, so I was a little wary of watching it. It's actually quite amusing, and a genius idea. Christian Slater is fantastic, and so are a lot of the minor characters.

Not really my kind of film- I don't like biopics based on real people, let alone fictional people.

William H. Macy is really very good, isn't he?

This was recommended very highly by a friend of mine who loved the series. We watched it together and at the end, even he was disappointed. (Yes, he recommended it without seeing it, silly thing). However, some of it was very cool: the first half, particularly the opening sequence was very good indeed, but towards the end my attention drifted massively. I imagine the fans will watch it anyway, and those who have no idea what CB is will steer clear

I like Sam Raimi, and I like this film. It has a really weird, drugged up feel to it that oddly works. Liam Neeson rocks, and the scene at the carnival is one of the best I've seen

I haven't seen the remake, but I'm insulted they made one, even if it was directed by Walter Salles. This is creepy, atmospheric and a marvellous horror film

Didn't scare me whilst I was watching it, but gave me the heebie-jeebies that night

Loved this film

When I saw this, I nearly punched a hole in my friends heart trying to escape the horror on screen. Partly 'cos I wasn't expecting anything scary to happen, and partly because the director's a Gane-ious

There was one really, really funny line in this, but I don't remember much else besides the fact I enjoyed it

Bit slow

Big fan of Matthew Broderick, but I didn't really get this the first time I saw it. It's one of those films you go back to though, and I'm pleased I did as it's very entertaining

Actually quite boring

A couple of Hallowe'ens ago, all of the search-engines webpages had the bright idea of doing the top ten horror films. This was on all of them, and was recommendation enough for me. It's one of the best horror films out there, with brilliant jumpy bits and creepy monsters

This films is perhaps more entertaining than the first, and I like it because it has more Bruce Campbell in it. It looks fantastic, like a really psychedelic nightmare

I adore Bruce Campbell, especially as Ash. This film was silly and dumb, but it made me giggle a hella lot

I don't want to say I saw this film solely because David Duchovny was in it, but he was rather good

This film was so awesome, and loved by so many, I'm really surprised there haven't been more Chuck Palhiniuk adaptations.

Better than the first one in a lot of ways. (The bit with the pigeons not being one of them. That just made me roll my eyes a lot.) A definite sequel to the 1st one, unlike FD3, which feels like a different movie

My friends saw this and said they thought it was the best FD because it was the most realistic. Which made me laugh even more than the contrite nature of this film. (Not necessarily a bad thing). It was entertaining though, and also my favourtie of the series

Don't call me stupid!

I had to study this for animation, and have mixed feelings about it. Most of the issues I have with it are supposed to be there (gratuitous everything, for example), but it's interesting in it's own way, and the first half is more entertaining than disturbing-sadly that can't be said about the second half. I suppose if you have an interest in drug films, or films about the 60s, you'll like this one

I used to hate alan Rickman, and now I hate him for making me like him in this film. Very good film

A lot of this movie went over my head when I was younger: he's trapped in the same day for years! It's kind of creepy! However, it is very funny, and Bill Murray rocks the house down

One of the best slasher films out there. Thinking about it, I'm not sure a lot happens in it, but what did happen scared the life out of me.

This was the first Takashi film I saw, and I immediately bought Audition and Visitor Q. Well, if you liked those two films, this is NOTHING like it. It's a thousand times better, for one thing

When I was sixteen, I was mildly obsessed with The Beatles: then I saw this film and became totally obsessed. Very amusing, great songs and just so very likeable

I cried with laughter when Kal Penn found the huge bag of weed. And John Cho's dream was a masterpiece

I saw this film when I was twelve, convinced myself my house was haunted, and didn't sleep for a week

what a creepy arsed film this was. I saw it when I was about 15 and I felt uncomfortable. Quite a few deaths/think-they're-deads

The book was better, as it was a bit more intricate, but the film was still incredibly enjoyable. Sigourney Weaver was pretty awesome

It took me aaaages to actually getting round and watching this film,but I'm so pleased I did. It's absolutely hilarious, with Pegg and Frost completely nailing it. A lot of people though the ending was a cop-out (pun totally intended) but I thought it was funny and unexpected.

I'm not that big a fan of chick-flicks, as the women nearly always annoy me, but they were quite tolerable in this film

Fell in love with Matthew Broderick when I was thirteen, and probably saw this 50 times in 2000. I could even tell you half the credits. I still have a soft spot for it, and I still think it's a charming funny movie

Stephen Chow is a God. Like me, he obviously finds physical pain incredibly funny.

They don't make fantasy films like this any more, and I don't know why. It has proper tunes, a beautiful female lead, marvellous fantasy characters and a genius quest. I love it

La Haine is a great film. It's in black and white, yet surprisingly for a modern film that doesn't make it pretentious. You despair for the whole world at the end

Best bit: The ending set to "Your Mother Should Know"
Worst bit: The Spaghetti-eating bit. I used to fast-forward past it

Ithink the thing I liked most about this film was the fact it was mentioned in a really ace Robbie Williams song. The film itself is creepy though, and there's one physically grusome moment I have never been able to see as I cover my eyes

There's a reason people quote this movie so much, and it's because it's absolutely brilliant. My favourite film, it's funny, silly, clever and barmy. Totally recommended to everyone

I actually think this is better than The Life of Brian. I love TLOB, don't get me wrong, but this just tickles me more

The Muppets=America's greatest contribution to high culture. They are amazing in every way

This film made me feel like an idiot for telling everyone "it has great subtitles!" But it does, and that's not the only clever thing about this film

Very dark: went expecting a 'Labyrinth' style story, but got something resembling 'Requiem For a Dream'. It's hard to describe, but it certainly had a physical and emotional impact.

Every episiode of this anime made me gasp. I thought it was particularly clever, lots of psychology in it if you're into that kind of thing

It may count as blasphemy, but I prefered this film to 'The Wizard of Oz'. It's faster paced and creepy as anything, especially for a kids film

Samara is THE most evil creature that ever lived. If I watch this film, I can guarantee nightmares that night. A lot of people say the original is better, but I've got to disagree. The effect Samara has in this one on her victims is horrible-I nearly cried when I saw the zombified victim in the closet. Anyway, this film might not be too scary when you watch it, but it'll certianly prey on your mind afterwards

Scared me just cos Samara scares me. she is eeeevvvilll. But not as good as the Japanese Ring 2, which is surprising considering how much better the first American one was to the first Japanese one.

I really liked this, actually more than Ringu. The bit where they're all clambering out the well was chilling

There's one bit in this film where sada jumps round a corner, and it's extremely inelegant and she looks very manly. I laughed quite hard, then when I went to bed that night I actually realised how bloody terrifying that one move was

Thoroughly bizarre movie. Some of the toture scenes are a little much

I couldn't believe how bad this film was! I was expecting the best SF film of modern times, but the whole time I was just thinking how well it would fit in MST.
Saying that though, I think I was expecting too much, and there are some OK ideas. The acting is just terribly hammy, and they don't make the most of the basic premise.

I really only rate this movie at all because it has a) Nathan Fillion in it, and b) Steve the Pirate in it. Saying that though, it was still entertaining the second time I saw it

David Fincher=awesome

This film should not have been a 15! It was gory as hell, with people losing body parts left right and centre. However, it was brilliant, although any comparison to Shaun of the Dead should be immediately ignored. If anything, it's more like Cabin Fever

Very funny movie, some great scenes

I'm giving this one star, even though I've seen it more than once, because it was really contrived, and really embarrassing

Normally, I'm quite forgiving of remakes of books to film, but this is unforgivable. The book is so much better I can't even begin to say (but I'll try). A lot of the awesome supernatural elements from the book is removed to make way for Jack Nicholson hamming it up. (Not that I blame him-this is entirely that Kubrick man's fault)

Easily the best film I've seen in ages. The adverts really put me off, but I heard many good things about it and I would really recommend it, especially to those that prefer absurd action

Really really liked some bits, such as the Pop Up video, but was thoroughly disturbed by the 'deer' thing. Just weird

Hopkins is a tad overated, but otherwise this is a really entertaining film

As a huuuge lover of the game, I shouldn't have liked this movie on principle, but I honestly thought it was brilliant. Very pleasing to the eyes, it was very sad in places and scared the holy living bejessus out of me in others. And, even though the ending didn't make an awful lot of sense, it was still less confusing than the game endings, so kudos for that

I accidentally discovered this when we had to study it for film studies. I immediately fell in love with it: it's funny, sweet and the songs are awesome. Well worth watching

I love this film so much! It's genuinely creepy, and shows a unique look at ghost-human relations. I get mega goosebumps at the ending, which also makes me cry

I was shocked and stunned when I saw this in the cinema. Really good ending

This felt and acted a lot like Tremors, which is a good thing. Quite silly, there were a few jumps as well, but the cast worked brilliantly and it was just generally entertaining

A lot of people who liked the earlier SP didn't like the movie, but I'm more of a fan of the later episodes and I thought the film was actually pretty funny

Bloody awful.

I believe that someone had written a cool movie about evolution, and then realised that it had one or two elements in ocmmon with SM- for instance, turtles and fungus maybe. So then they just changed the names of all the creatures already in place to names from the SM franchise, even though they didn't correspond to their namesakes. In conclusion, if this was a film that hadn't hijacked Mario the way it did, I would probably have liked it a lot more. As it is, it's very confusing, a bit frustrating and generally not very good

Brilliant film! Get the DVD and watch the stories behind the ghosts, that's actually the best bit

I hated this the first time I saw it, but it really has grown on me. Doesn't do a particularly great job of showing how rubbish drugs are, as the characters look like they're having the time of their life during a lot of the film, and even the bad bits are filmed stylishly.

Why do so many Southern State horror films feature creatures gone bad? (See: Slither, Squirm). Still, highly enjoyable

There's a death involving spikes and ankles. It scared me so much it became one of my favourite horror movies pretty quickly

Sometimes great films are made better by the things they inspire. And this film inspired my favourite line from 'Peep Show', and that's saying something

I recommend this as easily the weirdest film I've ever seen

I'm a big fan of Nathan Fillion, which is the real reason I went to see this, but I actually ended up really liking it. It was so, so much better than White Noise, which was slow and had the worst ending ever; this is jumpy as hell and has a great storyline. Very good horror indeed

Amazing movie. Weird as anything, and Christopher Lee in a dress *will* give you nightmares, but still. A classic that should be seen by everyone.

I've seen this film approximately 378 times, as it was the only film my nan had on video. This is probably my favourite adaptation of a Roald Dahl book although there are differences (for those of you hoping for a similar ending).

This is such an awesome movie. It is very funny, very quotable and still makes you feel uncomfortable at the end. Especially if you know that Withnail was originally going to commit suicide

Although I hadn't seen the previous films, I thouroughly enjoyed this film, although was quite insulted by the ending. I liked the fact that the X-person with the suckiest power ever went for the cure, and I thought the final twenty minutes was brilliant

I actually quite liked this film. There's loads of really weird pauses in it, where everything just stays really quiet before someone drawls out a line. My favourite example: "I've got a hole in my pocket"

The head was so pretty! If I were just a head I'd look like scum on a plate, but she really pulled it off, good for her.
The film was actually pretty entertaining. A strong male character is rude to everyone whilst keeping his decapitated girlfiend's head alive, and a strong female character is pissed she's being kept alive. She's just a head but she still 'wins'. I loved it, especially her. In fact, I can safely say my favourite female character from the 1960s is a head on a tray

This is worse than Manos. It's far, far more embarrassing at any rate

I was actually quite surprised by this film (not pleasantly, that's pushing it). As THE worst film of all time according to the Bible that be imdb, I was expecting a LOT of crap. I was accosted, certainly, but if it wasn't for the remarkably boring first 1/4 of the movie where literally *nothing* happens, I probably would have watched it all the way through even without MST3k

A gross, nasally policeman who does things 'outside the book' (read: badly) accidentally does some things related to actual policing. He kills a lot of people, all rather needlessly. There's a guy in a helicopter at the end who was really awesome, but he got shot. His screentime was probably about 30 seconds but I preferred him waaaay more to Mitchell.

The episode of MST which featured this has one of the best host segments ever. I couldn't breathe for the final segment.
The film itself is surprisingly boring. I normally appreciate all 'kids' films, but this would not have made me sit still in my seat.

As a kid, I probably would have loved this. Watching it at 20, I was bored but mainly bemused. It was quite special in that literally every single character was annoying

The idea was not too bad, but the characters sucked on toast. I wanted them to lose their souls in the end
