While references to the apartheid are evident. To me the film is more about humans cruel selfish desires particularly their unrestrained lust for power.

As far as "HA-HA" funny goes, no other film makes me laugh more.

an enormously entertaining 10 part french crime serial (silent), staring Musidora as Imra Vep, perhaps the sexiest femme fatale in cinema to date.

I have seen eight films by Nicholas Ray Thus far. Seven of the eight are masterpieces with the other one being far from perfect but excellent nonetheless.

Fellini obviously loved females with big shapely posteriors, who doesn't? :-) Hilarious film!

The director Fritz Lang considered this terrifying and morally complex Masterpiece to be his finest work.

A strange, very strange, western..It has a mystical feeling about it, not unlike Jarmusch's "Dead Man" (even though they are much different films)
51
I have yet to see Herzog's "Fitzcarraldo", but I seriously doubt that it will be anywhere near as interesting, as this documentary on the making of it.

A highly unique and thoughtful (yet sadly not very well seen) horror/drama masterpiece by George A. Romero

The most beautiful film of the decade so far...This is Pixar's best film yet by far and if you don't think so, well sorry but your wrong.
