My ~S~ Movies

This was an alright movie, with a few good chills. But I did think the end went kind of wrong, it could have been done better.

I really enjoyed this movie! It was fun, and funny. Good acting and story, and it had a wonderful ending!

One of the best movies I have EVER seen!

This is one of those movies were it certainly didn't earn it's star rating by being good! LOL But rather it's based on my own Star rating (see my profile) and got what I gave it for being a guilty pleasure.
Bad story. Bad writing. BAD acting. But what a hoot to watch!!! LOL

A bit predictable, and I would have liked a little more creepy to it, but it was an ok little spooky movie. And no mega gore, which was nice.

The ending was pretty freaky!

I should have run away before the first minute was even up, but I gave it another 15 or so before the maniac with garden shears made me flee.
It may have had redeeming qualities, but I wasn't going to sit though the badly acted gore fest to find out.

Kind of slow. Kind of stupid. Kind of funny.

This wasn't a "bad" movie, it simply wasn't the sort I enjoy. I really like Liv Tyler though, so I thought I would give it a shot.
I watched some of the bonus features for it, and one of the makers said it was more of a "Terror" movie, and I think that is just it. These movies that come out where it's all about people being terrorized by deranged people, they aren't really "thrillers", and in my opinion aren't "horror" (sure they are "horrifying", but to me, horror is all about the creepy, spooky, supernatural).
I really think they should start a new "Terror" genre for these movies, as there sure are a bunch of them out there.
For this sort of movie, it was done fairly well I think, and it wasn't so gory where I couldn't even watch the whole thing.

Disturbing, disgusting, ridiculous, and horrifying that it's even "remotely" based on actual events. UGH!
I mainly decided to watch it out of curiosity, and because I generally like the two main actors, but even though it's probably not the worst movie I've ever seen, I have NO desire to ever see it again!
I just can't see ever recommending anyone see it either.

The end was the best part of this movie, partly because it was sort of an interesting twist...but mostly because it meant the move was over!
