Escape from New York
This movie presents a society brutalized by the violence.
A dirty, hard anti-hero and without scruples and a politically incorrect end, it didn't prevent from becoming in a Cult movie...
10
The Thing (1982,  R)

Blade Runner (1982,  R)
Blade Runner
Blade Runner is one of the best movies of scientific fiction of always, contemplating one of the most prepared, detailed and solid visions of the future already filmed. Stone presents us a future exhausted, dense, polluted and violent world. A future magnificently conceived in the sceneries of Syd Mead, where Harrison Ford is the protagonist, an ex-agent of the police officer that is puts in charge of an investigation in Los Angeles, in the century XXI.
Blade Runner transcends the type, through philosophical, political and moral meditations, questioning contemporary societies. It incites existential reflections on the life and the death, on the meaning of humanity, the nature and relevance of the memory in our existence, on the wish of immortality. It is a glorious analysis of our planet, a brilliant dissertation on the development and evolution of the humanity. Blade Runner is one of those rare movies that dare predicting the future and whose conjectures turn out to be more right while the years go by.
