A faithful adaptation of the comic book series. Excellent cast, direction, script and special effects. Micky Rourke rules!

A beautifully made story that has outstanding performances by it's talented young cast (Ledger, Gyllenhaal and Williams deserved their Oscar nods). While on the surface it might be a "gay cowboy" movie but underneath it all it is so much more that, it's a moving, honest love story that Ang Lee directs to perfection. Sure "Crash" was great film too but this should have one the Best Picture Oscar. Not for everyone but it is worth watching.

Just when you thought that Peter Jackson couldn't outdo his "LOTR" trilogy, he creates possibely one of the remakes of all time. The cast are all outstanding and the special effects were amazing. Excellent all round!

A perfect adaption of the comic. Christopher Nolan creates a dark and real version of the beloved hero. Great cast with a excellent well-round script. Fun times for all!

Steven Spielberg show us why he is one of cinema's greatest directors. This is powerful and gripping film that is superbly directed and has a great performance by Eric Bana.

An remarkable documentary by first-time director Jonathan Caouette, who uses his own unusual life, his mentally unstable mother and his dysfunctional family for the basis for his film but using archival photos, phone messages and video footage that he had saved since he was a kid. This is an emotionally honest and raw film that is at times can be insightful, funny, strange, confronting and even moving. A brilliant achievement in low budget filmmaking that every one needs to should see. Highly recommended!

An original, violent, entertaining and twisted South Korean thriller that puts every other thriller to shame, it grabs yoou and never lets go. Park Chan-wook's direction is very stylish, the acting was great, some excellent scenes and it lives up the hype. One of the Asian films I have seen yet 'cause it's excellent in every way. See it now!

I don't care what all of you think, this is hands down one of the best (and scariest) horror films released in the last few years. Beautiful shot Aussie film that leaves every other "so-called" American horror films in the dust. John Jarratt is chilling as Mick Taylor.

Tommy Lee Jones' directorial debut is a powerful and engaging modern western that has excellent performances by Jones, Barry Pepper and a strong supporting cast. While the first 40 mintues can be a little hard to follow at first (it goes back and fourth between the past and the present but didn't a indication that it was doing that) but the script is great and cinematography is fantastic.

A great film. Terrence Howard deserved his Oscar nod for his excellent performance and supporting cast are outstanding as well. It could have easy fallen into cliches but writer/director Craig Brewer makes this a well-made story about that it is never too late to follow your dreams....even if it is hard out there for a pimp. Highly recommended and great songs too.

A powerful, emotional and at times a very unsettling film about two competely different young teens, who are link together because of horrible events that happened to them in thier childhood. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bradly Corbett are both excellent as the two teens (Gordon-Levitt particularly giving a brave raw performance) but really the entire cast are great. Gregg Araki's script is superbly written amd his direction is fantastic. The film's themes and subject matter may disturb viewers (it did with me) but this is a really great film that will challenge those who watch it and at the same time be taking in by its story. Its not for everytone but it is worth a look.
