The Farrelly Brothers water down the humour and add the sentimental to make their most heart warming scipt yet. Ablely directed by Michael Corrente and acted well by all main stars, one of my favourite movies full stop!

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind 4.0 Stars
Quite possible the most bizarley endearing romance - of sorts - movie ever made. With its twists and turns and unique idea this movie just captures you completley, Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are on fine form and actually work so well as a couple. Michel Gondry's direction of another classic Kaufman script is spot on.

The Doors 4.5 Stars
As a massive The Doors fan i can give Val Kilmer two thumbs up as this is an excellent performance quite possibly his career high point. The supporting cast are all goof but Morrison is the star of the story so they are pushed back. Another compelling story put to film by Stone as only he could, excellent!

Elizabethtown 4.5 Stars
Cameron Crowe brings his excellent idealistic character to a more romantic setting. The kooky Dunst and the down Bloom brings different sparks to this film, Dunst potraying a somewhat kooky perfect woman and Bloom a down on his luck could be perfect suiter. The chemistry is there thanks in no small way to Crowe's writing. Have to also mention the outstanding soundtrack.

Alfie 4.5 Stars
Alfie is my favourite Michael Caine performance he manages to find something in the character and show it in a way noone else could. His sexually driven strong male role slowly crumbles and the vulnerble reality comes through. The script and story are great and i urge all to see this if they havent already. A British classic!

Apocalypse Now 4.0 Stars
Apocalypse Now is the one true Vietnam movie that works 100% in the qustioning of was/is it really worth it! Great perfomance by Martin Sheen takes you through several sections of the movie each showing in its own way the ruthlesness and hrash reality of war. Beautifully directed by Coppola and good supporting performances from Fishburne, Hopper, Forrester and a special mention to Robert Duvall who to me steals the show completly.

I put of watching Chicago for a long time it didnt interest me at all. The fact Catherine Zeta-Jones won an Oscar for her role shocked me so i decided i best watch it. I loved it, the songs are great the acting perfect and really well cast, although CZJ isnt Oscar worthy she does well but for me Richard Gere is the stand out. And All That Jazz!

Platoon 4.0 Stars
One of my favourite war movies, Platoon is a well directede movie that has some classic shots. Well cast and in turn well acted, Sheen, Defoe and McGinley give some good performances. The one things that lets it down is the central story line of the Defoe, Berenger, Sheen in fighting which i think lacks in comparison to other string war pictures.

One of themost underated teen movies to have come out. A good story that sticks to the ropes enough but also has several different side stories going on within. Through out the film there so many notable cameos or small roles squeezed in wherever possible. Just so much fun, great flick.

Romeo + Juliet 4.0 Stars
If your going to do a modern retelling of a clasic tale, then this is how to do it. Every detail has been accounted for and it slips effortlessly into modern day Verona keeping the original dialogue works really well and the actors seem to play as normal. Only Lurhmann could do this and with the help of a good cast this classic lives on.
