What I love about this movie as a sequel is that the story is completely unrelated to the first film. It is a completely different concept. I love the fact that spirits are re-incarnated into babies as they are born. Brilliant idea.

This movie is actually quite brilliant as a prequel. It really helps you out with the plot before. And it far better than Ringu 2, although not as good as the original. If you are a fan then I beg you to watch this!

It's okay. It jumps about (not as much as The Ring 2) and there are times you may get lost. It isn't as good as Ringu or Ringu 0, but hey, it's okay. It's not the Americanised crap, so you can enjoy it hopefully!

It is a good movie, and highly original. It's been dubbed the German 'Se7en'. It's a shame it doesn't quite live up to that reputation to be honest. Although excellent in some ways it was too slow and not as gory as you think it should be!

This is classic horror at it's best. Siisy Spacek is absolutely amazing in this role. It's disturbing yet touching at the same time, as you really feel for Carrie's character. And talk about a great line... 'They're not dirty pillows mama! They're called breasts!!'

It's ok. I love the effect of her tattoo taking her over when she gets enraged, but it definitely is only a minor chip off the original. Watch it once then discard it.

This movie is gross, and a real shocker, but in a way that's what makes it so good and unique. It was banned for ages! There are some cringing moments where you don't wanna look like the rape, and when sje seeks revenge on one of the guys cocks, but hey... That's why people love it I guess!!

This may be one of the best acted and best directed movies ever made. It is a total masterpiece!! Did I enjoy it? Not really! But I can completely appreciate it. It is brilliant. The last 25mins were the best for me, but you needed the rest to kind of understand Travis. I'll watch it again.. but not for a very long time.

The performances in this movie are totally amazing from Guy Pearce to Ray Winstone to Emaily Watson to the lesser parts. It's incredibly bleak, and makes you cringe at times, but hey, life isn't always pretty and wasn't when and where this film is set. Other than that it's better than Anaconda and other trash. Worth a watch maybe. The comparison between the human monsters and the croc was obvious. I enjoyed this movie, but it was severely lacking as a horror movie for me. There could have been some far more imaginitive deaths to be honest, and the whole thing with the killer's sister/daughter was badly done. There was no real reason for her to join forces, and the casting of her was dreadful. Enjoyable but very disappointing.

How the hell can this be compared to Hostel? There's barely any gore, and it's a bit of a steaming turd of a movie, which is a shame as it was a good idea for a movie...

Hmm... Don't really know where to begin with this one... It's like watching Signs when you've had a bad trip and start having flashbacks. It started off really badly I thought, and was pretty sick in places. Always nice to have an alien slowly pulling out your intestines across the room. I dunno... Good acting, pretty good effects? I do like gore... But did I enjoy it? Jury is out...

I actually thoroughly enjoyed it! It has a great B List cast and is incredibly original in a way, using computer graphics so much. I alwfays loved this one death on one of the Nightmare On Elm Street movies where a kid is sucked into a game, and this kinda reminds me of that. Worth checking.

This is a movie that you will either love or hate to be honest, and I loved it! Completely original take on a zombie flick. I love the emotional and moral turmoil each character is going through. This is one of the best foreign supernatural horrors you will have seen, and maybe the only Russian movie you will have seen! This has some of the best cinematogrphy I have ever seen with just brilliant effects and characters. I can't gush about it more... See it... It won't disappoint!!

This is the best vampire movie since The Lost Boys and Blade. Love the premise, especially as parts of Alaska do actually have 30 days of night once a year! A brilliant modern horror/modern vampire movie. Josh is sexy and brilliant as always, but the stand-out for me is Ben Foster as the freaky outsider. He's phenomenal and so is this movie!!

I have heard such bad reviews of this, but I thought it was actually really good. It was interesting seeing the bidding, etc, and I liked a couple of the twists and reversals. I actually didn't think there was enough of a body count! The couple that disappeared in the room near the girls... We could have seen them tortured!! I didn't like seeing Heather Matarazzo naked and dripping in blood though!!

This movie is genius in my opinion. It completely deconstructs the mind of a serial killer, and in a way sympathizes in a clever way as we follow the killer with a film crew, and see what he is really like. Clever and original. Love it!

Well, this movie definitely has comedy value! It was never going to win any horror awards, but it is quite fun to watch. It's completely unrealistic with just how many bullets are fired on the plane without decompression happening or one simply piercing the plane to the outside at all. Quite fun to watch though!

Bloody brilliant martial arts action movie. One of the best I have EVER seen, and if you think you could have fit any more action sequences into this movie then your nose must be bigger than Pinocchio's! Keeps you gripped from beginning to end with an amazing amount of gore and awe-inducing sequences. I cannot fault it!

You can see the way the genius that is Pan's Labyrinth would come about in this great directorial debut of del Toro. This is like a more modern Nosferatu... It has so many under-currents like addiction, eternal youth, and love bringing you through becoming a full monster. Very clever and scary beautiful movie...

This may be a generic slasher, but it was actually pretty good in my eyes. A bit of a classic. There's no real explanation for why the guy is picking off the girls, until the end when he's telling a girl "You know you want it..." with a big drill in his hand. Very phallic. It's almost as if as he kills them he is violating them, but the penetration is with an actual weapon. I just found the analogy interesting. Anyway, if you like classic horror then don't miss it!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is one of the best foreign movies I have ever seen. It's full of amazing shots, amazing acting, and amazing characters. The suspense is phenomenal as is the drama, and my God... is it worth it! This movie is also incredibly bleak but done with such compassion. Incest isn't a nice subject, but this tackles it with gusto that includes both innocence and violent angst... All I can say is watch it for yourself!

What a complete load of old tripe!! Why do some horror movie franchises think that moving them to be set in a desert will make them any better? Milla looks beautiful, but this movie is the steaming turd of films, and they've left it open for a fourth... Please no!!

This is a great re-invention of Halloween. It was really great to see some more of Michael as a kid and trying to get your head around how he works. Has a really great cast and Rob Zombie has shown himself to be a great horror director once more! If you're a fan of the original and want to stay true I understand, but this is equally as brilliant and definitely worth a watch...

It's been a while since I've actually willed a movie to please end, but I seriously did with this one! The only decent part of the film was the end after the monotony of the whole f**king thing!! I'd have killed all those bastards myself after what she went through! There is only so much running/chasing/screaming to fill a whole film you can have before you want to put your head through your TV set. The acting was good, and the plot could have been good, but that doesn't make up for a bad film! You want tunnels and darkness and gore? Watch The Descent or Creep. Don't put yourself through this bile of a movie...

This is a movie that is completely original and entertaining! Hilarious points to it, and great mix of characters and gore! There are times when it pays homage to movies like 'An American Werewolf in London' with the effects amongst other things, but bloody brilliant and a complete riot! If you haven't seen it yet then you're missing out! Love it!

This movie has a BIIIIGGG problem... Elisha Cuthbert's character is not developed enough at all at the beginning, so when she is abducted you really couldn't give a crap about her... Then she is tortured in a few quite sickening demented ways just for kicks and you think the director is just a sick pervert... Then there is finally a bit more characterization, with another introduced and it becomes more human... The problem is for the first half you've been wanting to turn it off. What could have been a great film ended up as just 'OK'...

This was actually a very well done BBC drama. Nice and gory too! Although, Mrs Lovett's accent was extremely annoying Ray Winstone really stole the show as Mr. Todd. A really good portayal.

A very interesting, but disjointed movie. I got lost near the beginning, but loved certain parts of it, especially when the main character was speaking to her daughter through the translator who she was about to get killed because he was the cause. Very clever. It was just too irritating at times which is a real shame, as it was impressive.

I actually thought this wasn't bad for a generic teen slasher! The acting was bad from some of the actors, but the make-up and killings were pretty good, if a little predictable sometimes! I loved the lesbian beating up the killer until she got skewered with a coat hanger! Worth it just for that I think! Plus, I love Rebekah Kochan after Eating Out!

This is a brilliant documentary movie all about horror movies, and the history of the slasher genre. Great insight from the greats like John Carpenter, and Wes Craven. And really interesting to find out about budgets, what killed the genre, and what resurrected it. Real shame that Texas Chainsaw Massacre wasn't given a nod to, but great stuff...

The flitting back and forth between time-lines is what really irritated me in number IV, but this one is better and loving Julie Benz in it. Less confusing than the last one, and ties things up a bit better. Good but not great!

How can people not love this? Now THIS is classic horror at it's best! With the best scream queen, Jamie Lee. Love the whole premise, and keeps you guessing a couple of times. Never knew David Copperfield was weirdly attractive either! A very nice surprise!

This movie is like The Breakfast Club, but with people who need to be put on anti-psychotic medication... I love what must be a deliberate fault from the editor, because in the flashback replay of Virginia's accident with her mum they show the car going in wheels first, as well as roof first... Duh! Other than that this movie is trashy 80s horror-tastic... Love it! Some hilarious deaths, and a corny movie poster... The way it should be!

This may be a load of drivel, but it is highly watchable drivel! The deaths were pretty bloody good, and I mean bloody! I didn't find that I cared that much about any of the characters really, as they didn't have enough dimensions. A couple of the ghosts looked really good too. Not a bad movie just to pass some time.

You have to have a sense of humour, and some B movie intelligence to enjoy this film. Jenna Jameson as an undead stripper?! The guy who starts the infection is called Byrd Flough (Bird Flu)... It starts off with the acting SO bad! But after 20 minutes it gets better and better... The effects crew on this are phenomenal... Seriously any horror fanatic will bow down to the variety of deaths, and zombies getting more degraded... I say watch it if any of this appeals!

This movie takes no prisoners... Even though the whole of Scotland is imprisoned within itself! If you worry about getting bored in a movie... Well, you don't have a chance to in this one... It is phenomenal... I can even let slide that while one faction ends up being cannibalistic punks the other have reverted to medieval times, because this is an action movie tour de force with a hell of a lot of guts (literally!) and well worth a watch!

It's like Day of the Triffids meets Invasion of the Bodysnatchers meets the Aztecs... And not in a good way most of the time... The acting and effects are good, but it's bizarre, and although the tension is great at times it leaves you wanting more than some acidic ivy that feeds off humans! Original, but a bit ruined...

I prefer Cellular to be honest! Kim Basinger is brilliant as this woman being pursued by evil youths, and Lukas Haas makes a scary bad boy, but a whole film of terror doesn't work in this instance...

It is filmed incredibly well, and blows Blair Witch & Cloverfield well out the water with hand-held freakiness! A couple of jump out your seat moments too, but I'll leave you to find them... Genius!

A bizarre little Irish ditty I never expected... If they had added more humour and called it Mad Cow, or Cow Slip, or Moo-Tated, then this could have been genuinely good. The acting wasn't bad at all, but this is the shittiest thing to come out of Ireland since Riverdance...

This movie did keep me guessing, and made me a bit schizophrenic myself, as I wasn't quite sure where Milo's character was going as he got darker, and the other main actor was going right over the edge. At one point I was worried about a Fight Club ending, but actually the last half hour of the film, and the ending redeemed it no end! Just wish we could have got to know Alyssa's character a bit better!

A horror movie with Freddy, Jason, and Candyman?! Loving it! And it actually pulls off some decent slasher times rather than the torture porn we get sometimes these days! Loved it! And I love Mercedes McNab too, so good to see her in a movie! Great horror fare!!

This movie was genius in 3D! About as close to having thhe real Jensen next to me as I'll get! There were brilliant 3D moments, and it's thoroughly enjoyable! The ending was a bit pants, and if I hadn't have seen it in 3D then the rating would have been lower, but wicked!

I love to see women give a man what he deserves! A woman scorned and all that... Especially after Stuntman Mike has committed such atrocities and ends up screaming like a girl! It's poetic... There are really drawn out parts, but I understand why after the Grindhouse movies had to split in two! Brilliant gore effects and fast stunts... Definitely edge of your seat stuff at times...

I watched this beautiful movie in 3D and wished I was closer to the screen, but this film still amazed me! Bolt may not be a robot, but he has me barking mad for him, and I want a hampster like Rhino! He's hilarious! Brilliant movie!

This was definitely nearly as much of a disappointment as I had heard in every review. There were slight moments where it was funny of scary, but they really were few and far between. It wasn't fluid, although, with the subject matter I wasn't expecting it to be that much... Another movie with just too much paranoia, and also... I predicted the ending at the campfire story-time... I'm just gonna go drop some shrooms and eat some noodles now...

This movie is bloody genius! I loved it! I don't think I have ever jumped so much watching a film! It is pure cheese in places, and quite gratuitous, but it completely works. You don't need to take it seriously, because it doesn't take itself seriously. The bitch fight between Christine, and the old woman is cinematic gold... Reminiscent of the fight in Death Becomes Her. This movie is a must-see! Just make sure you take a valium first...

This may not be in quite the same league as "Battle Royale", but it's a similar vein of movie, and actually thoroughly surprised! I thought any movie with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & Vinnie Jones was gonna be for complete meat-heads, but think I was proved wrong. It is well made, full of action, and gore, and even has some heart and soul in it. Bloody good! Literally...

This is genius viewing! Completely takes good slasher horror and mixes it with comedy. If you are just interested in one or the other then don't watch. It also 'pastiches' elements from classic horror movies we all know. It's bloody brilliant though! And I mean bloody! Also, as a Brit, it's hilarious to know that two of the characters got morphed into characters from TV dark drama-comedy Psychoville. I only know that because I watched this after watching that and it was obvious. Good old League of Gentlemen. Watch it!

This movie had such amazing potential to be a great re-make, and there were strokes of absolute genius throughout... I just don't understand why the director thought that all that darkness would make a great movie. I wanna see what is going on when it comes to horror. Well, in any movie in fact, and you can't make out much in the beginning & end... What was good should have been great.

Wow. This is a coming of age story you have never seen. This is a vampire movie you have never seen. It is a foreign film du force. Just unbelievably good with young actors that bring it to life. Poignant, pale, and abosolutely poetic. I can't praise this movie enough. You watching it is the only justice.

One of the best Brit horrors I've seen in a while! The cast is hot, the deaths are bloody, and some parts are a bit comical. Like Marmite you'll either love it or hate it! It's Skins meets any teen slasher! If you killed yourself after being bullied at school, wouldn't you reek revenge on your attackers? I would. Enjoyably evil.

Just out of principle I can't give this movie five stars. As I watched it the original came flooding back to me. This movie is not for the faint hearted at all. Anything that you would never want to happen to a young girl, a daughter, happens to Mari. And the revenge for the parents is quite sweet as a viewer. It hits every emotion it's aiming for within you. This is even more disturbing than the original because the acting is better. I'm sure people still walked out the movie theatres though.

This movie is just so bloody wrong it's right! Definitely an original concept... Vagina Dentata... It's like having a built-in chastity belt! This movie is funny, spiteful, and genius! But as a guy, you will be reaching for your ging gang goolies... Watch it and giggle.

Wow... Kids really can be scary... And this movie proves it. Village of the Damned and The Exorcist eat your heart out. Bit more the girls in The Shining. FREAKY!! SO well edited it's untrue. Makes me think twice about working for Disney again. It's ashame it's not explained why all this is happening, but I applaud this film, and thought it was sheer genius.

I don't think this movie was at all original really... It has such a great cast, but after the second victim it's pretty obvious who the White Horseman is going to end up being. I did kind of enjoy it, but there really wasn't enough substance to it. Shame... Could have been much better.

Um.... What?! This movie is trying to be The Omen meets Rosemary's Baby, but in the view of the parents & babysitter. It is sheer crap. As a Trekkie I was more happy seeing a Star Trek alumni than I was the rest of this movie... And Nana Visitor was in it for a few seconds at a time!! Good ideas that are badly executed really piss me off. The way in which it leads up to and after the Vicar's death is trying to be clever, but the way the rest of the movie is treated makes it all the more ridiculous. Shite.

I thought that this movie was really well done considering they had what is known as a micro-budget! To be fair, I think it's good anyway, and there hasn't been a brit-horror quite like this. Mum & Dad are disturbed, but I sometimes feel like I can relate to parts of mum (that's so wrong!)... It's sick but with very mild humour in places. The main character who is 'adopted' is given an emotional tour de force by the actress playing her. Clever & should be commended in what they did with so little.

This movie is sick and unrelenting. As a viewer you don't really get any satisfaction in a way because the innocent get slaughtered while the sicko gets spared, and is completely unapologetic. That said, it is very well done, and maybe what is the most disturbing thing is how it really could happen. With the British youth yob culture we have, which is getting worse... Who is to say it couldn't? Scary.

Some may call is generic, but for me this was a well-acted horror/thriller that went through all emotions. Misunderstandings, deep tendencies, circumstance, and survival all lead to a good mix of character tragedy. Loved it.
