The Hours (2002,  PG-13)
The Hours 5.0 Stars
Absolutely amazing! Nicole Kidman's best performance so far! Julianne Moore was also excellent! I felt that Meryl Streep didn't give her usual breath taking performance but was still brilliant in the role of Clarissa!
Read the book, and I must say that the movie is as good as, if not better, than the book!

amazing movie...beautifully directed...great storyline...
I was completely blown away by the beauty of this movie. It has a very simple set, which infact seem very effective. The soundtrack is also brilliant.
Nicole Kidman gives a very effective perfomance...(as usual).
A must see movie!!!!!

Eyes Wide Shut (1999,  R)
Eyes Wide Shut 4.5 Stars
This film was extremely voluptuous and after watching this movie I was left in a dream like trance. The whole movie was brilliantly made, with tiny insignificant details that made it feel more than real, the sets, the lighting and especially the haunting melodic soundtrack.
The performances were also stupendous! Tom Cruise, whom I usually don't like due to his overacting and a super star like overacting, put all of these bad qualities down and did an excellent job as a jealous man. As for Nicole Kidman....what can I say...she was brilliant and probably gave the best performance in the whole film. Her role which I think was more of a eye toy woman role was portrayed with great delicacy and brilliance.

Bewitched (2005,  PG-13)
Bewitched 2.5 Stars
Will Ferrell destroys the whole movie, and Nicolde Kidman's talent and excellent acting just goes to waste next to him. It can be funny, but some bits (mostly with Will Ferrell) are just lousy. If Nicole Kidman wasn't present in the movie, I think I would have stopped watching it half way through.

Cold Mountain (2003,  R)
Cold Mountain 5.0 Stars
An absolutely amazing and extremely moving and emotional film. A MUST SEE! This film has a very beautiful musical score, and contains some of the best acting (esp. by Renee Zelweger) that i have ever seen. The film is so moving and fast paced that the two and a half hours seem very short, and when the film ends, it leaves the viewer internally and emotionally moved. The visuals of this film are mesmirizing, and I must say again that It is a MUST SEE!

Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006,  R)
Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus 5.0 Stars
Knowing only that Diane Arbus was a photographer who took pictures of deformed people I watched this movie after a lot of painful waiting, and I was NOT dissapointed. I loved this movie from the start until the finish.
This movie is indeed fictional...you can just see it...but it is as heart breaking and touching as beauty and the beast and Phantom of the Opera. Nicole Kidman gives a powerful performance, that keeps you glued to the screen. Robert Downey jr. another one of my favorite also gives an extremely wonderful performance.
the score to this movie is just...beautiful and the sets are fabulous as well.
I recommend this movie to all the movie lovers and especially the fan of Nicole Kidman or Robert Downey jr.
