I loved this movie! It's really terrifying. I loved how the director created such a horrifying mood in the story. Great suspense. Plenty of jumpy scenes. The story was very clever and well told. I was hoping there would be English dubbing, but I was ok with the Spanish dub and English subtitles. I loved the symbolism, the games, and setting (the house was creepy). The acting was very believable and Oscar-worthy (especially the amazing Belen Rueda). It kept me at the edge of my seat- I mean couch- the entire time. I was screaming near the end. The ending? You just got to see for yourself!

Signs
(2002, PG-13)
One of Shyamalan's best! It's one of the best if-this-happens movies! I remember the first time I saw it, I was a beginner at watching scary films. But when I first saw the alien on the TV, the hair on the back of my neck stood up, I became so terrified I could hear my heartbeat ! But near the end, I got over my fear, but I still couldn't sleep that night! lol. Really inspiring (the whole coincidence vs miracle theme). Abigail Breslin was so adorable and Rory Culkin makes an asthma attack look cute. Mel Gibson and Joaquin Pheonix were great as brothers!

Whoohoo, scary! Plenty of jumpy scenes. Tun was hot. I loved how they showed real-life photos (& credited them at the end of of the film) of people with real ghosts in the background. The ending? original and omg-she-was-actually-omg-ish. The bathroom scene in the gas station was hilarious. <3 this movie

I love this movie! One of the Thailand's best! Very original. It may not be scary-scary but very creepy. The mood is nicely terrifying. Good acting by Angelica Lee. I think she did better than Jessica Alba (no offense, Alba-fans).

Pretty good remake. Scared me. It's one of the movies that started my hunt for the original Japanese horror films of other remakes. Naomi Watts was good.

Another good Japanese horror film remake. I really want to watch the original Ju-on. It shows a typical, traditional cliche of the yurei, a type of Japanese ghost. I liked the actress who portrayed the yurei and Sarah Michelle Gellar became one of my favorite American actresses in horror films like Naomi Watts in The Ring. Really creepy and plenty of jumpy scenes.

This sequel is somewhat ok. It still delivered me scares. But I got upset after they killed off Gellar near the beginning. I was hoping she'd stick around longer or actually survive throughout. The ending was kinda disappointing, I was hoping for more plot development. The cliffhanger....(Oh well, they're making the third one...) But its still ok.

um i think this movie started the horror genre of "teen-horror". pretty good. Matthew Lillard was comical and insane ("Shaggy!") The horror expert was cool, he was my favorite character! The mask still gives me chills on Halloween.

quite terrifying. the "monster" creeped me out at first sight. the color themes were very effective. it got me scared of the color red and yellow for a couple of days. but now yellow is one of my favorite colors! whoosh.

one of the best REALISTIC vampire movies ever made EVAHH! Josh was cool w/ the axe. Danny Huston made a great vampire leader. i was happy to see an ASIAN vampire, i have never seen one in other vamp movies. i couldn't believe Ben Foster, the birdman in xmen3, was the insane lunatic. i admired the survival instincs/tactics of the survivors. those vampies are freakin smart!

yay i finally watched the original! i didn't really understand the story but it was well told, with the past and present thing. Toshio was adorable ^^. i was expecting more scares but it creeped me out enough. it had me scared of slide-door closets and attics for some time...i was also creeped out by the yurei, she was pretty damn fast for a flexible crawler! i hope to see the sequel!

At first, I was wondering why the shoes were pink instead of red. Then I realized cuz it would have been hard to see the blood on it. I actually liked the shoes' shade of pink,...looks creepy...creepy shade of pink...
but otherwise I liked it! (even though I only had the chance to watch 1/2 of it)

this was well made. Shu Qui was outstanding as the lead role, she really acted like a concerned pregnant woman (it's weird but she looks like and reminds me of my Viet friend). The ghost was eerie, the way it floats like its swimming in water.
