definitely a great thriller. the lighting and mood was excellent and i found myself trying to figure out what the hell was going on till pretty much the end.
very intense but amazing. joseph levitt i think is an excellent actor and the last scene left me close to tears. i think they handled the subject matter very true to life.
fascinating look at queers in the 1900s-stonewall. lots of amazing footage and pics of gay bos gaying it up. very interesting. makes you really appreciate what queers got now.
looooved it. i don't usually like action movies too much. but this was awesomely suspenseful and the joker was creepsville and amazing. the shots of chicago were fun to see too. i hated the last movie that came out but this one i really dug. it seemed more depressing but in a way was deeper. issues of good vs. evil, humanity, caring for others, symbols of hope and optimism are surely ideas that are relevant now and days.
loved the way it was filmed. loved the language usage in it. it seemed to be a mildly funny parody of teenager drug dealers. but other than that, just kind of strange and sad.
interesting based loosely on true events. i found it kind of creeps. but moreso just really sad. in a way that made me think about it for a long while.
i fond it generally intensely good. but the whole idea about 21 grams i don't know, seemed thrown in at the end rather then a theme throughout. the acting was excellent tho.
based on a true story. the acting was fantastic. and the way the movie was filmed was interesting. yet kind of random. the bonus features worth watching.
the 1st time i saw this movie i had no idea what it was about and came out of the theater with my jaw very much dropped. this second time i watched it i realized much more how brilliant the acting is. how intense the themes. it's like sad. and
twisted. and hot. and makes you think about gender and sexuality and such. mostly, this time i found myself really sad for her character.
i hadn't seen this in forever. typically amazing slasher flick. jason's mom is brilliant and the part where she says "kill her mommy, kill her" channeling her son jason just about made me pee my pants (w/laughter)
