Looks really good.

I like Liam Neesons' acting. But I am not a big fan of Antonio Banderas. But I guess it will be interesting to see these two act together. The film does look interesting.

Frank Falenczyk loves his job. He just happens to be the hit-man for his Polish mob family in Buffalo, N.Y. But, Frank's got a drinking problem and when he messes up a critical assignment that puts the family business in peril, his uncle sends him to San Francisco to clean up his act. Frank is not a touchy-feely kind of guy. But, he starts going to AA meetings, gets a sponsor and a job at a mortuary where he falls for the tart-tongued Laurel, a woman who is dangerously devoid of boundaries. Meanwhile, things aren't going well in Buffalo where an upstart Irish gang is threatening the family business. When violence erupts, Frank is forced to return home and with an unlikely assist from Laurel, faces old rivals on new terms.

Absolutely loved this movie. Thought I was in for another hit-man movie, but it was the opposite. Loved the dry humor. Definitely a dark comedy, without trying so hard to be funny. Ben Kingsley was brilliant. Loved Luke Wilson and Tea Leoni. She was really funny in this movie. Such an odd thing for people to be completely accepting of Ben's character being an Hit-man, but not his drinking. Just really good movie that I almost past up. But thought since it was recommended to me I would give it a watch. Glad I did.

Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Chris O'Donnell

Coming together to solve a series of murders in New York City are a DEA agent (Wahlberg) whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin (Kunis) out to avenge her sister's death. The duo will be hunted by the police, the mob, and a ruthless corporation.

This movie was a trip. A good one. Lots of action. Great performances. I enjoyed watching this movie more then I thought I would. It pulls you in right from the start. The storyline is really interesting and very different from anything I have ever watched. Of course there are hundreds of movies out there based on revenge, but the story behind his revenge is whats intriguing. Mark Wahlberg is the man to cast when doing an action movie, he was awesome. Really liked Mila Kunis in this movie too. Just a really good action flick that I think anyone who loves some action and explosions will love.

I put I want to see this, but not so sure..

"Jarhead" (the self-imposed moniker of the Marines) follows Swoff, a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering stint in boot camp to active duty, sporting a sniper's rifle and a hundred-pound rucksack on his back through Middle East deserts with no cover from intolerable heat or from Iraqi soldiers, always potentially just over the next horizon. Swoff and his fellow Marines sustain themselves with sardonic humanity and wicked comedy on blazing desert fields in a country they don't understand against an enemy they can't see for a cause they don't fully fathom.


I think this is the first war movie I have seen that really wasn't about war. It was more about the soldiers and their lives. How they live while there and how they cope with being so far away from loved ones. I must say that I am not a huge fan of war movies, but I do always end up watching them for some reason or another, and I am always a bit surprised when I actually like one. I did cringe a little when I saw that the running time of this movie was five minutes short of being 2hrs long. I was for sure I wouldn't be able to sit through the whole movie. Well I guess I was wrong. It intrigued me. Loved the characters, and thought Jake Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard were great. The more war movie's I watch and like encourage me to watch more. LOL.. Not really.. But people should see this one.

Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe

Michael Taylor (Ryan Reynolds) is an author who has channeled his painful childhood memories into his novels. With some reluctance, he is flying home for his mother Lisa's (Julia Roberts) college graduation. After a lifetime of putting everyone else first, stroking her husband's (Willem Dafoe) massively insecure ego and raising her children in spite of that, it's Lisa's turn. What should be a moment of great celebration turns into a tragic reunion when Lisa is killed in a car accident, leaving father, son and family to pick up the pieces. While preparing for their mother's funeral, memories are relived and secrets are revealed which will test the family bond. After a childhood of hiding in his father's shadows, protected by his mother, Michael must confront his past and find an understanding of his family, his father and himself.

Love, Love, Loved this movie. The cast is amazing right down to the young children acting in it. Great performances by them all. It's a dark drama, and I am amazed it has taken me this long to see this movie since I am such a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds and Julia Roberts. The story goes back and forth from past to present and really does a great job at putting you in the story. It's an emotional roller coaster. Willem Dafoe was brilliant at playing the father, has to be his best performance in a movie that I have seen. It's just a beautifully made film. I will definitely be looking for this one on DVD.

Just a lot of bad acting.. No one needs to see this movie to know that, just look at the actors that are in it. My sister love Dane Cook. That's the only reason I had to be put through this awful movie.. That is time I will never get back..






what a crapper this movie was

Can't wait to see how it turned out. The trailer looks good and their suppose to keep it closer to the book then Twilight, (I hope they did) assuming thats true, then it should be awesome, cause the book is really good. .

I actually don't know how to explain this movie. It was a bit disturbing. But the story was really interesting. Helen Mirren was great in this movie. I really liked Cuba Gooding Jr's performance. This whole movie was something you felt kinda wrong for watching but you can't help to, cause of the story, and you want to see where it goes. First movie I have ever watched with Vanessa Ferlito I believe. Thought she was great. It's definitely a movie worth seeing. The characters had some odd love interests that surprised me. Not so much in a good way. Kinda made me cringe, but not in disgust or anything, just uncomfortable. LOL. I watched this movie cause it has some of my favorite actors in it. Turned out to be a little bit more interesting then I thought it would be, and some things took me by surprise, but its a film I would possibly watch again.

Wow what a different kind of movie.. definetly have to check this out..

Sad that it was Heaths last film... Definetly want to see the last of his work...
