Live Wire (1992, R)
This is a film that had so much potential but fails. I am a Pierce Brosnan fan but even he had nothing to work with on this film. With some cheesy dialouge to some bad action scenes makes this a bad film. Even the story was weak and choppy through out the film. I would only suggest someone watching this if they are a Pierce Brosnan fan. |

Mrs. Doubtfire (1993, PG-13)
A great funny family film. Robin Williams is at his best in this role. Just seeing him dressed up as Mrs.Doubtfire and acting like a nanny was very funny. This is a heartfelt film at the same time. Dealing with divorce and and trying to keep a family together. Overall this films delivers a entertaining funny film. |

GoldenEye (1995, PG-13)
A great James Bond Film! Pierce Bronson's best bond film. One of my favorite Bond films. It was great to see Bond back better than ever since the 80's. This film has a great story and supporting cast. Plus the action scenes are awesome in this film. Pierce Bronson was the perfect casting choice for the new Bond. One of my all time favorite films. |

Mars Attacks! (1996, PG-13)
This is a very funny Sci-fi film. The film has a all star cast with Jack Nicholson, Pierce Brosnan, Annette Bening, Martin Short, Michael J. Fox, Glenn Close, Sarah Jessica Parker and Natalie Portman. The film is full of funny scenes and great F/X through out the film. The Aliens are very funny. My favorite scenes are when the humans try and make peaceful contact with the aliens and then the aliens go ballistic and start killing everything on site. Plus when the aliens talk that is also amusing. A fun film not to be taken seriously. Worth checking out at least once. |

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999, R)
I liked this film. I never seen the original so I can't compare. But this is a decent heist film. The story is about a billionaire Thomas Crown who steals a priceless piece of art just for the fun of it. The film has a great cast starring Pierce Brosnan, Rene Russo and Denis Leary. Besides the heist investigation of the film the story also has a love story between Brosnan and Russo's characters. My favorite part of the film is when the painting is stolen and then returned in the end. Those are great scenes. A film worth checking out. |

Shattered (Butterfly on a Wheel) (2007, R)
This turned out to be a rather decent thriller. The film is about a couple who are taken hostage by a man who states he has their daughter hostage and they must do whatever he states. The film has you guessing at why this man is picking this couple. I had some ideas and one of them was right. I won't say what it was but it was a good ending. The film stars Pierce Brosnan, Maria Bello and Gerard Butler. They are all quite good in their roles. I have seen better thrillers but this was enjoyable and well worth checking out. |

Married Life (2008, PG-13)
This is a drama set in the late 40's about a married man who loves his wife but wants something more. He has a affair with another women he also loves. He tells his best friend who also falls in love with his mistress. A complex love story. The film has great characters and the story was quite entertaining. Great performances from Chris Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan and Patricia Clarkson. The film is soild and well worth watching. |
