Proof I Have No Taste
Acclaimed (or maybe only pretentious) movies I dislike. Ignore the ratings.

Ratatouille (2007, G)
Ratatouille just gave me a sense of indifference. The film wasn't fun. For me, at least. Most people like or even love it. I found it rather boring at times. My least favorite Pixar movie so far, though it is a better production than Cars or A Bug's Life. The character development and story just weren't up to Brad Bird's previous standard. The Iron Giant & The Incredibles are fantastic. In the end, I would say it's decent, but I would also say that it's over-hyped. |

Crash (2004, R)
Racism is not good. Neither is this movie. It is such a manipulative and cliched message movie. I scoffed a lot at how shallow the writing could be. I did like a few of the scenes (the Dillon rescue, the two car thieves bickering) |
