Groundhog Day (1993,  PG)
Groundhog Day 5.0 Stars
Groundhog Day is a laugh out-loud comedy about a weatherman who has to relive the same dreadful day over and over again, and in the process he learns what is really important in life and how one should really live day-to-day. (For younger viewers, inappropriate content may include the several failed suicide attempts and a sensual scene involving kissing Nancy Taylor).

Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark) (1981,  PG)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark) 5.0 Stars
Raiders of the Lost Arc is the epitome of the classic adventure film, with Harrison Ford?s landmark portrayal of Indiana Jones, the anthropology professor who also happens to be an incredibly gutsy and successful ?seeker of antiquities.? The theme song alone stirs of feelings of adventure when you hear it. (For younger viewers there are some gruesome/scary images seen in both the tomb searching and arc opening finale).

You've Got Mail (1998,  PG)
You've Got Mail 5.0 Stars
As far as chic flicks go, You?ve Got Mail is at the top of my list. It?s witty dialogue and creative weaving of plotlines are irresistible, as it portrays two people who begin writing by email and have no idea they know each other in real life. (For younger viewers, I don?t like the fact that the main characters appear to be living with someone, but at least there is nothing salacious about it).

It's a Wonderful Life (1946,  Unrated)
It's a Wonderful Life 5.0 Stars
This Christmas classic by Frank Capra shares the tale of George Bailey, a regular guy with ambitions to leave the lowly Bedford Falls where he was born. I love sharing the ups and downs of his life, and seeing how good people do prevail in the end. It's not Christmas at my house without seeing this annual tradition.
