Wow, this was awful. Much worse than I expected. Not funny, not clever, not interesting. Hudgens and Tisdale are horrific, the songs are not exactly Menken-caliber (how many times can you repeat one line?)...Efron is the only saving grace, though his talent is wasted on crappy songs with mediocre range. Oh, Kenny Ortega...what happened after the incredibly talented boys of Newsies? Is this what teenagers have to offer nowadays? What a shame. |
