À l'intérieur (Inside)
A really simple and unique story line gone completely wrong. This could have been a great movie if it didnt feel like the directors/producers were rushing to finish this movie, as if they didnt respect the project enough to take the time and make a quality movie. So many times I was scratching my head saying "Why?" **Spoiler** Why the hell would the killer find anything sexy about the person she is about to kill... she all of sudden gets lesbian tendencies before trying to take her baby!??!!?!!? Just one of the scenes that tells me the directors are throwing in any sort of cliche possible to entertain a short attention-spanned audience.

The thing people are raving about is the blood and effects. Ok, I'll admit the movie has a couple good moments of great imagery. The baby inside the womb is pretty much the graphic I'll praise the most. But then you have a close up of the main character's slashed face as she looks into the mirror. This is where you say, "HEY, look what we can do with effects, this is our mona lisa... get a good look!" And I honestly I think I saw better make up this past halloween from the local kids! Its like the same level as Hostel... just poorly done. Lastly, just to throw it in somewhere... The characters have a very difficult time seeing anything when the lights go out, then the main character LITERALLY finds a needle in a haystack when she picks up a sewing needle in the darkness.... aaaarrgh.

Luc Besson is one of my favorite directors because of his diversity, and this shows yet another side to him. Very well done.

Shoot 'Em Up (2007,  R)
Shoot 'Em Up
Perfect for its genre by taking away all seriousness in the plot, while mocking bad action movies at the same time, brillant, in my opinion. I mean, start with a simple story line then start... well, 'shooting 'em up!'

Dissappointed to hear all the bad reviews about this movie, but when I saw it, I felt like critics watched a different movie. I thought it was a great modern take on the cartoon.

Good to hear the director, Haneke, will be making the American version of this. Damn good film and so clever the way the audience is brought into the movie. Make sure you watch the director's interview!

The Break-Up (2006,  PG-13)
54
The Brave One (2007,  R)
55
Saw IV (2007,  R)
Saw IV
Least favorite of the 4, too much going on and not very fluid makes it hard to enjoy this installment.
56
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2004,  R)
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Reminded me a little of Dead Man's Shoes. Story seems to run its course after the first 40 minutes and began to grow old, but by the end of the film the pace makes sense to understand Will, the main character, better.
57
Cashback (2007,  R)
Cashback
Shoot out to Brooke for the recommendation! Good movie dealing with how haunting the time during a break up can feel.
58

Adam Sandler's best movie since Spanglish.

Paris Je T'aime
Down right great watch! Applaud all the directors who made this film seem to come together so natural as well as make a film just as diverse between stories. BRAVO, et, oui, paris, je t'aime aussi!
63
Titus (1999,  R)

Rush Hour 3 (2007,  PG-13)
