Recently Watched Movies 2007

10-31-07 --This movie will have you freakin' out! Not necessarily a "scary" movie but it will have you thinking that you may have lost your mind. 1408 is suppose to be a real haunted hotel room and only from the mind of Stephen King can this be a real thriller. John Cusack is wonderful and really sells the "nonbeliver". I wish Sam Jackson was in more of it but hey it was good anyway. Happy Halloween!

06-10-08 --What if Superman Died? Well this answers the question. Not really. Very Loosley based on the graphic Novels "The Death of Superman & The Return of Superman". I say loosley because very little from the comics was used. Doomsday was only in like 15-20 minutes of the entire movie. There weren't any other DC super hero characters in the movie and they didn't even go the route of the Supermen (Steel,Superboy,the other one). Since I'm a huge fan the movie turned out ok but only as a seperate entity. They should have named it something else though. Animated like the recent cartoons "Adventures of Superman" made famous by the early 90's Batman franchise. Good supporting cast and great line from Kevin Smith. "Oh, like they needed him to destroy a mechanical robot... lame!" If you know Kevin Smith than that is funny!

10-27-07 --Definately a classic. One word for this movie is "disgusting". After seeing this for the first time (when I was younger) I wouldn't let a fly land on anything of mine fearing that he would puke all over it. Sad ending and now that I look back the acting is not all not good. Brundel fly doesn't make it into the sequel.

10-23-07 --Reminiscent of "Ghost". Remember with Patrick Swayze? Yeah. Good movie though. Better in many ways. Chris Marquette is a up and coming great actor. There were times he talked a little slow like he was "special" but not enough to slow the movie down. Boy gets killed and trys to find his body to save his life and live again. Weird but different. Different is good. This movie is that... Good.

10-22-07 --Funny. Classic Ben Stiller. Getting all deep in some shi* and finding a way out. He marries a girl a week two early and then he finds his true love. The stars don't align and Ben Stiller laughs his way to the bank. It's good to see Carlos Mencia in a movie.

10-16-07 --Intense & Satisfying at the same time. Michael Bay was an excellent choice as Director for this Summer Spec-Tac-U-Larrrr! The movie started and zoomed around looping and twisting, explosions were going off and I was constantly at the edge of my seat. I'm glad they used Peter Cullen's voice (original voice actor) for Optimus Prime. That was a huge Fanboy victory even though we lost some small changes. Speaking of the changes or liberties they took with the characters. I won't get into them but I will say that it is possible for Michael Bay to have made it more true to the original characters/mythology without making it feel "out of date". All in all though when I walked out of that theatre I felt satisfied and eager for a sequel. If you would like to message me I will go into detail about the changes they made and what they should have kept and what was understandable reasons for changing what they did. Ahh, the humans... Shia LaBeouf did an excellent job at playing Spike. Ok, they named him Sam but I will refuse to call him Sam... he is Spike. Anthony Anderson was hilarious. The army characters were a little lackluster and felt "added in" for popularity. but it was OK. You need to go see this movie!!! Now on DVD!!!

10-11-07 --Not Scary. The trailer makes this movie out to be some scary movie. Well, no... not really. I won't give away anything but crazy people belong in crazy houses with crazy furniture and crazy utensils. Crazy Pictures, glasses and television... enough.

10-10-07 --I did not like the ending of this movie one bit. I felt cheated. The break up is about two people that have forgotten why they got married and they fight constantly. Funny thing is they resolve their issues but stay broke up.

10-10-07 --Definately better than the first "Bruce Almighty". Steve Carrell is just hilarious and a must see if your a fan of his. Morgan Freeman is convincing in any role but I really like him as "god".

10-05-07 --It's funny, the most memorable part in this movie is only like 1 minute long and it didn't even make a difference in the plot. You know when he holds the boombox above his head proclaiming his love (implied) with the "in your eyes" song blasting. I mean she didn't even get up to see if it was him. Pointless. Good love story about two people that aren't suppose to be together and noone believes they'll make it. Describing every sucess story out there.

10-05-07 --Living at home and being 35 years old? Well, I guess I can see the point. He's living the life and his parents want him out so they hire a professional. Funny in parts and written well. Terry Bradshaw shows his ass! That's funny! I'll give you a white goose!

10-02-07 --First thing's first. The Silver Surfer is a great addition and we get to see the Fantastic Four in action. **Warning** This review might contain specifics that may spoil the movie for you. Not much because the movie is only 90 minutes long. That hurt it a bit. I'm a huge fan and I think they did ok with this sequel. It will take acouple more times watching it for me to really appreciate it. Here are the negatives: Too kid oriented. Doom was only Doom for like 5 minutes of the movie. Galactus is a freakin' Cloud. (I couldn't get over that) Jessica Alba looked fake with blonder hair and blue'r eyes. Galactus was a cloud! oh wait I said that already... Plot was too simple. Ok, there I said it. It truly pains me to write anything less than an excellent review for a Marvel Comic movie but it hurts when things are done so wrong with your favorite characters. Good things: Reed Richards was more like Reed Richards in this go around. The Thing looked a lot better except for wearing street clothes all but the last 15 minutes of the movie. The Surfer was bad ass and Johnny's Super-Skrull like powers were pretty decent. It will be in my collection when it comes out on DVD but Tim Story might want to seriously consider making an extended cut so that we can have some story in this movie. Stan Lee makes another amazing cameo! I will say that watching it for the second time was great! Can't wait to delve into the "special features".

9-25-07 --Second serious role. (I think). Comedians becoming true actors... Tom Hanks did it why not Jim Carrey. His role is deep and the movie can lose you if you don't pay attention. The Director must have taken some serious drugs... The second time watch makes it easier to understand. Really touching love story.

9-25-07 --Excellent Romantic Comedy. This movie was funnier than I thought it would be. Ben Stone is someone I could definately relate to in my younger single days. He makes the best of the situation he is in and he rolls with it doing the right thing the whole way. Ok, he stumbles a few times but, hey I didn't read the pregnancy books either. Thats silly. I cried. Yes, it kinda snuck up on me and took me by suprise. It had to be the relation between me & my own daughter that made me feel so heartfelt. It's ok, it's only a one time thing... that never happens. The birthing process was really detailed and put you in the birthing room with them. Go Watch This Movie.

9-22-07 --This is just a good ole fashioned silly ass movie. Very funny in parts. Very retarded in parts. No real point. I liked the humor. It was definately John humor. Ya know the stupid "I can't believe they actually said that" humor. This movie takes place on the last day of camp and follows the many campers around and their quest to find love before the summer ends.

9-21-07 --Definately not one of your average pick me up movies. Story about 3 people in college (2 girls 1 guy) and the sexual excapades that transpired during that time. They didn't really care about consequences they just did what they felt. 10 years later they are living grown up lives and they see how that was the past and this is the present. It's always a good idea just to move on.

9-21-07 --Ben Stiller is hilarious as usual. He plays a bad guy so, not as funny as his other movies. This movie is about a kid that goes to Fat Camp and it gets turned over to new management (Ben Stiller) and the new owner is trying to make an infomercial on kids losing weight by using his new weight loss "system". The camp turns out to be hell and craziness insues. Of course. Funny. Cute. Jerry Stiller makes a cameo just like any other Ben Stiller movie.

9-21-07 --Christini Ricci in another sex addict movie. Actually not really a sex addict just someone that uses others to get what she wants. She is very cold hearted and manipulates everyone (or tries anyway) to make life for her easier. The narration in this movie is great. Definately a stand out quality. Lisa Kudrow's character was annoying to me but most of her characters outside of "Phoebe" is.

9-20-07 --M. Night is just a fabulous director/story teller. I am a huge fan of all of his movies. This movie is Joaquin's second M. Night movie (the other being Signs). The Village is definately slow towards the beginning but picks up as the movie progresses. I didn't really like the ending the first time I saw it. The second time I saw it the movie was better. This was the third time I watched this movie and I have to say that it gets better each time I watch it. M. Night shows that not everything you see is the truth.

9-19-07 --The murder mystery surrounding George Reeves the black & white Superman. The very first Superman portrayed on television in fact. This movie doesn't come out and says what really happens because noone really knows. He could have honestly committed suicide or he could have been shot. Nobody knows! The good thing about this movie is that it gives you most of the facts and lets you conclude the story for yourself. Ben Affleck did a great job playing the reluctant Man of Steel.

9-18-07 --Suprisingly funny but depressing at the same time. Some people just aren't compatible with other human beings. So, Peggy decides to help animals. It all stems from her dog "Pencil" dying (which is sad) and her life starts to attempt a meaning-ful existance. From there it's all crazy. Good movie like I said but it can make you feel sorry for the main character. I guess that is why they call it a DARK-COMEDY.

9-18-07 --Ah the ratpack of the 80's. This time it isn't John Hughes but Joel Schumacher Drama-ness. This movie tends to bum me out because everyone's life just turns to crap. In the end they make it work being "still friends" and all but their life still sucks and life goes on. Definately not an uplifting movie by any means. Emilio Esteve's character had me confused and upset. His character had no honest direction and he frustrated me. They shouldn't even of included his character. Ahh! Anyway, this is one of those movies that you just have to watch once in your lifetime.

9-13-07 --Excellent! One of the only films about the Coast Guard that I have seen. I always thought the coast guard had it easy but alas I was wrong. This movie has all of the classic beats of a 80's military movie. Hot-shot, Old Seasoned Veteren, Boot-camp like training, Get the girl, Barfight etc. it goes on and on. This is a bit predictable but it goes far enough to be an original movie. That is what I liked about it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the "re-watch" factor. It's not a movie that you can watch over and over again. It's a bit heavy (drama) and it is pretty long. Costner & Kutcher were excellent!

9-11-07 --RV. A modern take on the National Lampoon Chevy Chase Series. My take. Take out Chevy and put in a better actor... Robin Williams. The moral of the movie: Don't let your job control your life. Yes we all need a job to have the things we want but when your job starts controlling you to a point where you have no life then it's gone too far. I wish I could be doing something that I loved... Isn't that everyone's dream?

9-10-07 --A documentary on the biggest selling and most controversial porn ever made. Don't expect to get a lot of "action". This is a documentary. It cost 25k to make the original porn masterpiece but it made around 600 million dollars. Wow! Linda Lovelace died pennyless and Harry Reems was almost sent to jail. It's just crazy the state of the nation was back when this was released. Crazy, Crazy.

9-10-07 --M. Night Shyamalan does it again. I love his movies. They are always different and original. He said that he always told this story to his kids before bedtime everynight. Which I think this would be just a bit creepy for a bedtime story for children. Good acting, Good Writing, Special effects good too. Soundtrack was comparable to any of his other movies.

9-9-07 --Childrens movie. Maybe if I was younger and hadn't seen so many good movies this might have been more enjoyable for me. Let me break it down for ya. Cinematography/Special Effects - 1 star. Acting - Zero Stars. Story/Writing - 1/2 star. Casting - 1/2 star. Sound track - 1/2 star. = 2 1/2 stars. They made the parents out to be complete idiots. The child acting was horrible. I was in the dark most of the time because things weren't ever really explained.

9-4-07 --I watched this movie and I thought SFW I watched this movie, I may have wasted my time but SFW!! It's lacking on the development part. It's like the director was like "hey lets make a movie about people that get too involved with everyone they see on tv and they make em out to be idols. Yeah! lets make a movie about that" But that's it... That's the whole movie. I feel like I wasted my time. Best part is seeing Tobey Maguire playing the part of a stoned kid. Hilarious!

8-29-07 --Long. Chick Flick. But it is a good one. I sat through this movie knowing how the outcome was going to transpire. Not because I saw the trailer, and not because someone told me but, I could just tell from the way it was all playing out. So, you could say that this movie is also predictable. I think that is why it ended the way it did. No spoils... go see it and see for yourself.

8-27-07 --If you have time watch this movie. Time is the key. It's like 2 1/2 hours long and you feel every bit of it. You watch an investigation by police & then you get to watch it again with someone that doesn't have all the "connections". Even though it's all different information it's hard to keep it all straight. You formulate for yourself who you think the Zodiac killer is and then you get to think about it after the movie is over. The Zodiac killer was a random killer in San Francisco in the late 60's & early 70's. Police have never been able to say who actually did it.

8-26-07 --Definately better than the wallace & Gromit or Chicken Run movies... A fan-boy has eyes like an eagle for example: Hugh Jackman's character "Roddy" is trying to find something to wear and he's pulling out all of these different suits & stuff. He pulls out a "Wolverine" suit. Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine in the X-Men films. Nice tip o the hat! Decent kids movie with a good moral story. Oh, and Ian McKellen plays the Evil Toad which Ian also plays Magneto in the X-Men films and also ... I'm really reaching for this one but he plays a Toad and in the first X-Men film Toad was a member of the Brotherhood. Ha, how do you like that? X-Men Flushed Away!

8-26-07 --Classic John Candy. Oh that crazy Buck "melanoma head" Russell. Seen this movie quite a few times especially growing up. Uncle Buck the "bad" brother is called upon to watch the kids while the parents are away tending to a family member and it starts out rough but Buck's unusual approach at handling parenthood makes him different and fun. He realizes that he needs to start thinking about his future and making a family for himself. Good John Hughes flick.

8-25-07 --If you've seen the episodes on Comedy Central then you will not notice much of a difference. If you like Super Troopers you'll love this movie (not as funny though.) You will see tete in this flick so keep the young'ins out. I can't stand the episodes on tv so, it was kinda hard to sit through a whole movie. It was allright though.

8-23-07 --Story of middle aged people trying to find love. Is the internet the place to do it? No, not really. It may have worked for some but I have my own opinion that belongs in somebody's blog or something. John Cusack is a little dull in this movie to me. Not classic Cusack to me. Charming story but seemed a little "done before" in my opinion. Liked it though. I didn't have any problems with this Romantic Comedy.

8-23-07 --Good series (two episodes)! Jonathan did an excellent job playing Elvis Aaron Pressley. I remember when this was on TV and I missed it. Finally 2 years later I get to see the goods. Kinda like Elvis having to wait 4 years to see Priscilla's goods. All jokes aside. I did have one beef with this movie. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers Lip Synced all of the songs and he did a horrible job doing so. It was so obvious that he wasn't really singing. It's also a good thing they didn't go as far as "fat Elvis".

8-22-07 --What if the south had won the civil war? Well, this is how it would be. This is actually produced by Spike Lee. It's like a program you would see on the history channel complete with commercials for this "made up" future. It's actually kinda startling with the references and history they made up. I got to say though that it was quite boring and barely held my attention.

8-20-07 --Classic Owen Wilson. With Owen in your film how can you go wrong? You don't. This film is a remake of an older film. Don't know much about it. Need to see it. How does a con-man pull one over another con-man? Well, it's not easy, just ask Sara Foster's Character. Owen makes the film. It's nice to have Morgan Freeman in there giving the movie acting chops. Go Owen!!!

8-19-07 --Heather Graham does a terrific job playing a girl coming out of the ... Don't want to spoil it! Anyway, Why is all movies now adays based in NY show the character living in these awesome loft apartments. Aren't good apartments hard to find in NY? Anyway, Alan Cumming is in this movie. You know him as Night Crawler (Kurt Wagner) in the X2 movie. Watch out Stephen King's Carrie plays a Therapist in this movie with some unusual techniques.

8-19-07 --Visually this is better than the first. You can tell they have a bigger budget with this movie. Unfortunately this is where you can see the franchise getting campy. Not quite but you can see it headed in that direction. Michael Keaton returns as Batman which helps. and Catwoman added a good "secret" romance factor. Definately best of the "Catwomen". Heck even the penguin was creepy enough to say they did pretty good with this movie.

8-18-07 --The hype that surrounded the release of this movie was unreal. I saw bat signs everywhere. On tv, radio and children everywhere Batman was huge. This is my 3rd favorite Batman movie. Behind "Batman Begins" & "Batman Returns". Michael Keaton was pretty decent as the Caped Crusader. Too Short to be the dark knight but decent. Kim Bassinger can't act so that was so so. I can't believe they casted Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent (future Two-Face). Where were they going with that one?

8-17-07 --I didn't know if they could top the first one. But they did. Letting go is the hardest thing a parent can do. But dealing with the Murtaugh's is the second. Tom Baker brings all of his kids together one last time to go out on the lake for fun & sun... & a lot of competition. I gotta tell ya it snuck up on me but this one can be a tearjerker. Corny at times but a lot of heart.

8-16-07 --Classic tale of the "good guy" always being stepped on. This was all Eddie Murphy. As usual. Eddie Griffin was a nice side gag. Cuba... I'm losing respect. There are a bunch of hilarious parts but you have to expect a Eddie Murphy/Nutty Professor Movie.

8-16-07 --Van Helsing is sent to rid the world of the Vampires, Werewolves and creatures that... blah blah blah. There are too many special effects that make this movie way cheesy. Good if your younger I guess. I didn't find anything special that hasn't been used already by other movies. Definately not one of Hugh Jackman's best. Oh, and Frankenstein wasn't a talking good guy. Bad Stephen Sommers Bad!

8-15-07 --An All-Star Voice-over Cast! The graphics are amazing for it's time in this movie. The mouths, hands and sometimes emotions are things that they definately needed to work on. It can be very noticeable in places and totally take you out of the movie experience. Other than that it is interesting and worth watching. I'm trying to figure out why they didn't ever make a game out of this.

8-14-07 --Excellent! It's so great to see all these guys in a movie together. A Comedy no less. And it's funny! Go Figure! This is about a bunch of guys going through their mid-life crisis that all men go through in some way or other. It turns out to be that the most important thing is to have the friendship and being able to go out on the open road. Easy Rider Style! Speaking of Easy Rider... Peter Fonda makes a cameo that is great to see. Where's Dennis Hopper?!! The best & most funniest part was when the credit's were rolling. Move That Bus!!!

8-13-07 --Wow a movie about Air Traffic Controlmen! It's always good to have a different job point of view. Nick is always in control and he's the best at what he does. Until a newcomer shows up and disrupts his whole world. Decent movie but I think it was a bit long. Classic John Cusack. Before Brad Pitt there was Billy Bob Thornton. I think him and Angelina met during the filming of this movie. How sweet. If you were wondering AJ shows Nip.

8-11-07 --2 professional contact killers get married as a cover-up. They are together for 6 years before they realize what the other really is. Is there marriage a sham? Or does the relationship really have that "spark". Well, we know in real life they found that "spark" during the filming of this movie and they are still together trying to save the world. One child at a time. :)

8-11-07 --Classic tale of the guy that is afraid to commit. Takes his girl to Vegas to get married and loses a lot of money gambling. Long story short He is frantic and afraid of losing her and flies high with some impersonating Elvis-i. You think Nic Cage had anything to do with Elvis being so prominant throughout this movie? He is a huge fan!

8-11-07 --A bunch of guys not actually knowing what they have (as in relationships) until they almost throw it away. I guess that is a bunch of guys' problems. This just highlights those inner demons that men have to fight when they might have found "the one". All-star cast movies are always fun to watch. Natalie Portman plays the young "object of desire" which she made so famous in "the professional". Uma Thurman plays the stranger that makes these guys realize what they have at home. Rosie plays the angry woman friend. go figure.

8-10-07 --I actually enjoyed this movie. Jane Fonda's character drove me insane. I just can't take the "schemeing" character I guess. It was funny and charming. Wanda Sykes made this enjoyable for me . She was a crack up. Loved her in this movie.

8-8-07 --Just goes to show everyone's life is pretty messed up. A general theme throughout the movie is that everyone needs to communicate. Once you lose communication it goes downhill from there. Man and Women also Men and Men. They think they know each other so well that they already think they know what the other will say if they have a problem about something. Communicate "it will set you free". It was pretty hard to stay engaged throughout the movie but it was decent. Thanks Colby!

8-7-07 --Intense! This kid gets sentenced to 3 months house arrest and he is going out of his mind. Nothing else to do but watch the neighbors. In this case he should have pleaded with his mother to get his Xbox Live up and running again. Filled with suspense and not at all predictable. Maybe a little but not noticeable. Go see it! --We Redboxed this movie... 1st timer.

8-6-07 --Good suspense and everything BUT... I had a feeling from the very beginning that her daughter was alive. Only because the plot wouldn't have any where to go halfway through the movie if she was crazy. Sorry if I ruined it for you but I think the trailer gives that away. Anyway, if she was so sure that her daughter was alive then why did she have to act so crazy and mental. I mean that only hurt her chances for making any real headway. Her character bugged me but the movie was allright.

8-4-07 -- What if in 20 years all women where infertile and unable to have children? Well, this story is all about the struggles of man and what would happen if someone actually did have a child in that rugged time. In my opinion I thought this movie was a bit boring aside from all the killing and explosions and stuff. Running and hiding, hiding and running. It didn't meet my expectations I guess you would say. Original Ideas and decent movie.

Very Dark Film. S & M is a heavy theme here. Mystery and Confusion surrounds this movie. When it all boils down to it when you are a investigator your life is not a safe one. And a rule to remember. Not to get caught up in your cases. I would have taken the money and moved away. Not one of Nic Cage's best.

Chris Kattan & Tracy Morgan totally save this movie from being "made for TV" blah. They spoof a bunch of 80's movies mostly Karate Kid & Dirty Dancing and that is the funniest part of the plot. Trying to figure out what movie they are spoofing. "Peek-a-boo I'm'a Hump You"-Tracy Morgan's Character is hilarious! But mostly bad acting and senseless fun.

Amazing! This movie was all around awesome. Acting, Cinematography, Plot, Direction, Length and even the blades of grass were right on the money. SPARTA!!!!!! I compare it to a Gladiator meets Sin City with a dash of Lord of the rings. I have heard a lot of buzz over this movie and I tried not to listen but now I have become part of that BUZZ...

Bettie Page - voted the #1 Pin-up girl in the Universe! I didn't know anything about Bettie Page except the fact that she was a famous pin-up girl in the 40's and 50's. After watching the movie I'm kinda disappointed of what I thought I knew. I thought she was a very strong and independent woman that fought for the rights of nude/bondage photography. That is simply not the case. I won't tell you much about the movie but it does shed a different light on the legacy of Ms. Page. Back then, rules and porn was so strict that you were looked down upon if you were ever involved. Even jailtime was sentenced if you sold it. :( The life of Bettie Page. A definate watch if you like biopic's.

Dark comedy. The characters in this movie were written very strong. I liked that. This is about a little girl that is learning to "go for a dream" no matter how unreasonable it seems. She might be out of place but her family steps up and helps her through it. If your thinking that Steve Carell is going to be laugh out loud hilarious then you might be upset. He's funny but very calm and definately a backup/secondary character. You won't notice though because it's a Good movie.

The way this movie was made makes it original. I give it two stars just for that. The other 1/2 of a star is for the plot. It was almost like watching an animated "fearing and loathing in Las Vegas" but with much more rambled speech and underlying tones that are never touched upon. I was so confused when this movie ended. Usually I would want to go back and watch it again but it just wasn't worth trying to sift through all of the bumbling talking to one another to figure out the story. Good animation though... original.

What if a guy got pregnant? Well, beside women being pissed because it was stealing the one special thing that makes it ok to go through all the crap they go through then it would be ok... no, don't think it would be ok. Women, you can have this one thing. Its yours. Arnold in drag is the best part of the movie. Overacted in parts but ok.

Me and Nick use to watch this movie continuously. That and Dumb & Dumber. Anyway, we had the freakin' movie memorized. We would probably quote most of the movie while we weren't watching it. "I'd kick my own ass if I wore clothes like those."

I'm sure the book is better. A young boy and his brother witness a suicide of an attourney that represented a member of the mafia. This gets the kid and his family all wrapped up in this legal case that could easily be concluded. The "child" withholds information that could end the case quickly but he is all white trash and irrational it almost ruined the whole movie for me. Plus if he just did what he was suppose to do the movie would only have lasted 30 minutes. So, you could say that the movie was drug out the entire length only because the boy was ignorant and his "lawyer" did nothing to help him make the "right" decision.

Good but frustrating as well. She has a Premonition of her husband dying. She doesn't do anything to drastically change the future. Plus she acts all crazy. If it were me I would act smart and change things drastically to keep my spouse from dying. That was the frustrating parts but in all it was a pretty good movie.

Better than I thought it would be. It took awhile for me to buy "Kiera Knightly the Bad-Ass" but, after I did the movie became really good. Made as a low budget Michael Bay flick Tony Scott definately has some directors he looks up to. The twisting plot was really great and I think made the movie better. One of the few films that Mickey Rourke is in and I actually liked.

A capital court case that can go both ways. Two guys rape a 10 year old girl and then the father kills them. Who's at fault and will the local lawyer save this father's life? If you got time to kill you need to see this movie. Kevin Spacey is evil in his excellence.

Very funny. Dax Shepard is great. Revenge is an evil thing to pursue but this guy is all about getting back at the person that put him behind bars 3 times... pretty much helping him shape his worthless criminal life. Chi McBride had me rolling!

Total 80's Cheese! It is a great idea and I'm suprised it hasn't been re-hashed into other movies by now a billion times over. But hey we still got time. I enjoyed remembering what it was like watching this when I was younger and it isn't a "horrible" movie. funny.

Philisophical Overtones make this movie. Why are we here? Is there such things as coincidences or are we just all here for no reason? These are the questions that are asked plus many more in this comedy. The whole movie you'll be like "oh my god these people are crazy! This movie is crazy!" but that is what makes it funny. It all makes sense.

Excellent movie. Samuel L. Jackson can play any role and still be phenomenal. A young girl plagued with a "sickness" is found by Sam's character and he cures her evil ways. Or does he? I like Sam Jackson's characters that have this methodology for curing someone. Sort of like his Pulp fiction character. There are some Ricci breasts that make an appearance so this isn't a movie for your children. I got to go now my black snake is moanin'.

Not so climatic climax. This is just a bunch of recycled movie ideas thrown into one. Hoping to spin off some sequels. I guess there will be loyal followers... but what movie doesn't know a days. I noticed a lot of star wars plot in this movie. Young Blonde headed farm boy loses his uncle and follows an older gentlemen on a crusade and gets wrapped up in a much bigger battle. He doesn't face his true enemy but wins a small battle in the process. Star Wars Rip off!!! I couldn't stand the main character (Ed Speleers) he just annoyed the heck out of me and most likely effected the movie in part.

A couple goes to buy a huge house that needs a little work. Not bad, it will only take "2 weeks" to renovate the house and longer to renovate their relationship. Murphy's Law plays a huge part throughout the movie causing laughter for all. Favorite part is when tom hanks is stuck in the floor and is singing the name game. Tom, Tom Bo Bom bannana fanna fo fom... Hilarious!

The Good German can be better. It was styled as an old movie flick and I think that hurt the movie for me. I think it caused the acting to be stale and it became boring. I hardly write a review before I watch the whole movie but we just couldn't get through it. Maybe we will finish this movie later. I'm disappointed because from the trailer I thought this was going to be a great movie. Turns out ... No.

The movie George Lucas made before Star Wars. This movie was Harrison Ford's first movie. Really great apple pie american movie. Definately a classic. Story consists of One night of a bunch of high school students on the eve before leaving for college. Back in the 60's things were simple as this. Cruisin, and pickin' up chicks man!

It's amazing how the editing on a movie makes the movie. Sure the Movie has the same plot but the additional footage (which is a lot) makes it a whole different movie. It's kinda like watching a bunch of deleted scenes put together. Which is essentially what they are. I didn't like the ending Richard Donner chose to use. But then again I didn't like the turning back of time in the first one either. Good movie if you are a fan of the man of steel.

Remake of a 1959 movie starring Vincent Price. This is like watching a Marilyn Manson video. Creepy and fairly good. Not all that scary. A Good watch to get some creepy imagery. Watch out though there are some corny lines. "I was adopted!!!".

Another good movie slipped by me. This movie has some heart. Not a lot because I still think he married her for the money. Even though he said that he "had a vision!". Still anyway, I would have married him for a 100 million dollars. Decent movie.

Ferris becomes the teacher! It's kinda amusing to see Matthew Broderick playing the uptight teacher in this movie. Reese Witherspoon plays the Bigtime Political Nerd. Chris Klein plays the jock... Good movie about growing up and how things can hinge on one decision so you better make it a good one.

Very Insightful teen flick. A young college kid has an experience with a girl in an elevator and when he wakes up she is gone. He searches high and low for this girl that he has proclaimed as his true love. Does he find her or does he just go through the whole movie giving long narrative speeches on how women and men try so hard to understand one another. Watch it and see!

Natural Disaster film. I don't know how I missed this one. It kept me intrigued the whole way through. Not much to the plot but this is an action movie. In the plethora of Natural Disaster movies this one is up there.

Sometimes something that seems so perfect has its flaws if you allow yourself to see it. Richard wants to do something that usual tourists do not do. He's just looking for the perfect getaway. He found it but it isn't so perfect. He realizes that but he almost is killed before he does. Very good movie.

Not scary if you have seen the first one. I really don't think a second one needed to be made. Between supposed "scary parts" the movie was really boring. They were trying really hard to make an in depth story so that sequels can be made. Most of the "scary parts" were just re-hashed from the first movie which was excellent. Didn't really care for it.

A great tale of a peasant becoming a true knight. If you like jousting then you will love this movie. A LOT of Jousting! The music is all rock N roll music and it kind of takes away from the period but it also adds a certain "something" to the movie. The Princess is totally from some different period but it doesn't matter. Still worth watching and funny in it's own right.

Strange. A person that gets paid to follow people soon becomes infactuated with his target. He has already lost it seeing his daughter in places where she isn't. This is a very quiet movie and it was very hard to hear in places. You know one of those movies when the music is loud but the talking is quiet. Movie ends without any closure!! Ending was not to my liking AT ALL!

Decent chick flick. This movie is so predictable that in the end they try to make it not so "predictable" and it just comes off forced. Even though I knew what was going to happen I still enjoyed watching this movie.

Twice as good as the first. The way Bryan Singer interwove each character to actually have a good plot/story was amazing. Nice touch with elaborating on Wolverine's past.

This movie helped kick start the comic to movie revolution. Thanks to Bryan Singer we are able to see our favorite Comic Characters portrayed on the big screen. X-Men did a fabulous job doing just that. Great Job!

Roxie dreams that everything is some hollywood number. She kills someone and is sent to jail and the whole thing is a production. Ok, the movie is well made. I give it that. A lot of music. Too much in my opinion. The story was good but the music took away from the story. Everytime a song started I was i could only think "oh, another song". I understand the songs were suppose to give insight into what these characters were thinking but I could only wait for the song to get over so that we could get back to the real story. It won a lot of awards but the only award I gave it was for ending. Oh, and Richard Gere should stray away from singing parts.

Spicoli kills me. If you don't know who Spicoli is then you definately haven't seen this movie. I'm suprised if you haven't. It's always on TBS censored for all of us to disgust. I say that only because of Phoebe Cates... Nuff Said! A story of teens dealing with dating and breaking up. Also, for the stoner's getting by in school. See it if you haven't yet.

2 children get abandoned on an island with their drunken captain. He drinks himself silly and they learn about life. When he's no longer there to show them the way they learn about they "way" themselves. How much is instinct and how much is just guessing? Well, they have quite the life on this little island. Don't eat the "never wake up berries" emma!!! This movie is blah, boreing, and daring at the same time. The amount of nudity definately too much for a youngster to be watchin'. It's pretty much a story about how these kids grow up and learn about life and living together by themselves. The "other" tribe on the island is there but it is never touched upon in the movie.

Kevin Bacon is an awesome actor but this is almost going to far with this part. From the trailer you know that he did something bad to get thrown into jail for 12 years and it had something to do with children. I just wasn't expecting this. I won't give it away for you but it is a decent movie giving you a glimpse of this guys thoughts and inner demons. Mos Def proves himself once again as a very good actor.

02-23-08 --Every time I watch it... Awesome! It was great how they brought in the "old" ghost rider from the golden age. Nicolas and Eva played great. Good, Good Movie! The extended cut DVD is awesome! Didn't really change the movie in terms of pace or feeling it just has good bonus features.

Ewan McGregor can sing! This movie was pieced together with bits upon bits of music history. I think that is what pulled me in the most. Just waiting for the next bit of music culture. On top of that it was a great love story. I was very well suprised by myself to give it four stars but it deserves every single star. I only regret not seeing it sooner.

Some of the best movies don't start from beginning to end. This like many other's is just a bunch of pieces being put together just like "Crash" or "The Dead Girl" or "Magnolia"... I could go on. Many stories make up one day that goes on in the Cayman Islands and how life can be messed up. Good one mon!

A puzzle of a story. Five different characters make up one story of a Dead Girl. The Stranger - Finds the body, The Sister - is trying to move on but in actuallity it isn't really her sister, The Wife - is living with the killer and she finds out and covers for his ass, The Mother - of the dead girl finds out why she ran away in the first place, and finally the story of "The Dead Girl". I like the style this movie was made. very Different.

03-13-08 --Gotta Love Spongebob. Now that I watch Spongebob regulary on tv with Maddie. I have gained a new hankerin' for some cartoon's. Spongebob is funny to more than the child audience. There is a lot of "hidden" jokes that kids just don't get. This movie is just one long episode. It's pretty darn good!

An odd film. Both main characters clearly have huge issues. But they need each other to function and that isn't realized until the movie ends. A lot of S & M overtones going on in this film. Once one is dominated will you then have the power to dominate your own fears and live life to the fullest. Ok, I just made that up but it sounds good...

One of the best documentary films ever! Al Gore is a great presenter and definately a pioneer worth following. I voted for him of course. He just needs to run in '08 now. This documentary will shed light on a lot of things that we need to change. It's really scary if you think about it. You'll learn a lot. Like I didn't even know that we conquered the whole "hole in the ozone layer" thing. Good to know. On the DVD it even gives the latest updates scientists have uncovered since the release of the movie. Phenomenal!

Interesting. It is nice to know how Hannibal Lector was the way he was. I won't give it away but, here are some points they needed to work on. I didn't ever picture the old Hannibal (Anthony Hopkins) at all, not even once. I tried really hard but either the part wasn't written that way or the kid didn't play it correctly. He was definately different... Maybe that's what they were going for. The movie itself was pretty straight forward and basic. After you find the main motive for his killing the rest is kind of boring.

An Eddie Murphy classic!!! I can't even say how many times I've seen this movie. Eddie Murphy & Arsenio Hall played many different characters in this movie. Now Mr. Murphy cannot do a film without playing at least 3 characters himself. Anyway, you will notice the cheesy 80's atmosphere but the movie is really funny and it is very entertaining. What is that velvet?!!!

This movie had a lot of potential. The story was just to basic and boring. Ok, it did kinda make ya feel good that he won and everything but you already should have known that. Ok, the sandstorm was cool but it lasted like 5 seconds. "I'm here for the race. (and to secretly whisp away your daughter) Here's my gun!" Whatever he was really there to show everyone else up. I thought he was going to Off Hidalgo there for a minute. Nice comeback! It is nice to watch a movie about said legend though. Glad I saw it.

Yes, I'm an Eagles fan. Have been since I was young. It's ok I'm a Chiefs fan as well. Very Good Movie!!! Mark Wahlberg does a great job of playing that tough South Philly bartender type a guy. This movie had me so pumped up by the end I wanted to run the oklahoma drill with Tiffany. She wasn't havin' it. Go see this if you haven't yet. Very Inspirational!

Good twist at the end. Even though I predicted it halfway through the movie. Two drunks get together and have some cheap no nonsense sex. Become "un-drunks" and think they should have a life together. Ok, that is a poor summary of the movie. Lets try again. Short version: Husband is thought to left his wife. Neighbor swoops in and enjoys the company of her family. They fall in love and come to find out the husband didn't leave her. He's been there the whole time. And they stay together. There!

Poor adaptation. Garfield was not meant to be a live performance. Making Odie real was a mistake. Only a child could like this movie. The CG was decent. It wasn't bad by any means. One Star worth. 1/2 a star is given on the casting of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Good choice. Of course she ends up with Jon the loser owner that doesn't seem that much of a loser in this movie. I was a Garfield comic strip fan and I couldn't stomach this movie.

Dysfunctional family, kids acting like grown-ups, & life in general are all reasons to bring young Igby down. Drugs, Mental Health, and cold hearts are surrounding and making this baby go! He handles it like a pro. The best Culkin movie I've ever seen. Kieran has to be my favorite. Try it you might like it. Oooh independent-ie

There isn't many George Clooney movies that I don't like. This one I thought was going to be predictable but wasn't. In a world full of divorce lawyers and the spouse getting half this movie builds on that theme and does a great job making you laugh along the way. It was suprisingly funny. I'm still not convinced Mrs. Massey was being fully honest in the end. She just didn't want to lose anymore money. :) I won't ruin it for ya!

Based on a True Story. Chuck Barris was an unknown to me. It's good to put a face with a show creator I guess. Either this man lived an insane life or he's lying about some of it. Sam Rockwell did a great job. 4 of the Oceans 11 made it to the party. George Clooney Directed and it makes me think that he can become a great director if he so chooses that direction. Screenplay by Charlie Kaufman! C'mon this movie was great before it was even filmed. If you are unaware of Charlie Kaufman go see "Adaptation" starring Nicolas Cage. This movie in one phrase: exhaustingly entertaining.

Based on a True Story. Stephen Glass wrote for a magazine called "The New Republic". Wait stop there. That is so funny to me. Hayden Christiansen aka Anakin Skywalker is writing for a magazine called The New Republic. Once he destroyed all the jedi then he would be writing for the new magazine "The Galactic Empire". Ironic. Anyway, This writer fabricates most of the articles he wrote. 27 of the 41 pieces to be exact. Very good movie about a pathalogical liar faced with dealing with his problem.

Henry (Brad Pitt) is a 1st class A$$hole from Austria. He likes to climb mountains and when he heard that his wife was pregnant he ran for the first mountain to climb. With World War II beginning while he is on the mountain complicated things and he finds his way to Tibet. He meets the Dahli Lahma and there is where he finds himself. He also finds a new perspective on life and after some time and war he returns home to his son.

This movie is a bit on the sad & eerie side. The town of Northfork is going to be flooded to be used as a man made lake. People are hired to evacuate the citizens of what is left of the deserted town. While this is going on a sickly orphan is close to death before meeting a group of spirits (really weird) that take his spirit in before the town is flooded. Very interesting movie.

Johnny Depp plays a book appraiser that is eager for the money. A collecter sends him on a wild research chase (makes no real sense why) and the devil aka lucifer is heavily involved. Then he has sex with what I think is a messager from satan and then it gets fuzzy. The first part: intriguing, The middle part: boring, The last part: Confusing.

Marky Mark's first movie. Nicole 4 Eva!!! Alyssa Milano is a total slut in this movie. So cool! How did Marky Mark think that he was going to beat the legally blonde's Dad "Grissum" from CSI.

A story about a boy who sees things with a different perspective than everyone else in the world. He thought he was doing someone a favor by killing him but, that isn't the perspective the judicial system will look at it with. Good movie. A bit sad. It's crazy what people will do when they fall into a shitty situation and things don't go the way they dreamed.

Suprisingly Great! I always have doubts with these type of movies and am usually proven wrong. Very inspirational and funny. Robin Williams plays a couple characters in this movie and he did awesome (as usual). It's about a penguin not quite like the rest. Things happen for a reason. He saves them all. Very basic but very good. It'll have ya dancin' in your living room!

All star cast. Woody Harrellson & His Cowboy partner (can't remember his name) is probably my favorite characters in this movie. So many different characters doing there own thing during this last show of theirs. A story of Old things that have to change and move on just because the "times they are a changin". Lindsay Lohan makes an appearance and sings a little ditty.

Diane Keaton's overly controlling character drove me nuts during this whole movie. It cost the movie a full star rating. I figured the movie out not even halfway through it. I don't think it was meant to be figured out though. It was good (except for Overprotective Mother).

Made for TV Movie. Presented by TNT!!! This movie is full of TV actors. Aside from the low production and cheap special effects, this movie had me sucked in. It was predictable and alittle corny. Made for a younger audience.

Decent Date Movie. Matthew McConaughey is always in these romantic comedies lately. The plot was a little thin but it made up for the comedy. A little predictable but again still a good flick.

A spoofing of American Idol. Mandy Moore plays the down home american WT contestant. Hugh Grant plays the role of Simon Cowell. The President even gets involved even though he's going through a nervous breakdown. There are 3 people in this movie that were in the American Pie movie. Let's see if you can name them.

Kids, kidnapping is Bad. Remember that. This all about suburban kids thinking that they are gangsters but they aren't. Couldn't figure out if it was a real story behind it or not. Justin Timberlake did a great job. Very Suprising to me. Tech N9ne makes acouple musical appearances. Go KCMo!

A group of girls trying to figure out what sex is all about and the ever so unattainable "orgasm". A young Ryan Reynolds and Ashton Kutcher make an appearance. Also, the young girl from Uncle Buck is in this movie. (she plays a bitch!). Anyway it is pretty weak in the plot area. Definately not even close to American Pie.

Funny. My opinion but I think Stifler's character was "overacted" too much. He was a real idiot in this movie and that isn't his character. Actually, he's gotten more stupid as the movies have progressed. The situations Jim get's into are always extreme and unrealistic but they can be funny.

Wasn't able to even finish this movie. Horrible. I love Bruce Campbell and everything but, it's like this movie was made in someone's back yard. "oh c'mon let us use your house for a scene or two!!!". Yeah, it needs some work.

Horrible. I couldn't even get 30 minutes into this movie. I felt confused and couldn't tell what was going on. The acting seemed fake. Like they just memorized their lines and tried to act them out. Maybe I'll give it a try again but I definately need some time to forget how much I disliked it the first time I tried to watch it.

Good movie over the complicated world of relationships. There are a lot of things that both me and Tiffany could relate to. It was actually kind of weird. Guys mess up so often and are tempted to mess up even more so. It's a wonder women even put up with it. Then again, women don't always make it "easy" for these men trying to find they're way on a road that doesn't have a map. Human nature is to question everything. The nature of humans is to answer the questions in the same breath.

Saw the original and it was so, so. This "remake" is exactly what a remake shouldn't be. It is almost exactly like the original. Different actors and a better production. It looks like after 30 years they could have made some changes to keep an audience in their seats. Couldn't even finish it the movie was so boring. So, it was better than the first but it lost a half a star because I already saw this movie once before (1976 version).

Filled with music & stereotypes from the late '90s this movie is pretty predictable. This takes place throughout one day in the record store and how each person is different and they contribute to the atmosphere of the store.

Martial Arts with weapons and no feeling. In a society where you are not suppose to "feel" because feeling leads to emotions such as Hate, Jealousy & ultimately War. Christian Bale is excellent at playing the "non-feeling, cold character" but honestly I think they slipped a bit with the storyline. Everyone actually did feel. The feelings I saw was Hate, Frustration, Jealousy... And that was suppose to be from the people that didn't "feel". Anyway, there were a lot of cinematic similarities to the matrix but that was it. Decent movie. Fairly short movie. No sequel needed.

It took about the first 30-45 minutes to figure out exactly what was going on in this movie and how it was suppose to work out. After I did I figured out the whole thing before it was revealed. This was an excellent movie with good closure. Keanu & Sandra haven't been together since Speed. They have great chemistry.

Excellent! I don't know if it was the sci fi twist, the intense bruckhimer feel, or getting the girl in the end. Heck, maybe it's all Denzel. Whatever it is. All things added together made this a fabulous movie. It constantly has you thinking and I'm sure you'll catch things the second time watching that you missed during the first watch. Excellent!

This movie is all about the teenage Angst that everyone goes through. Some go through it harder than others. This is the classic young man on the other side of the tracks falling for the little rich girl. But in this reincarnation the little rich girl is messed up more than the young man from the other side of the tracks. It all works out like Hollywood likes it to. I find that having it work out is better for me because of my closure issues. Good Movie even though Kirsten Dunst needs a braw throughout the whole movie.

Excellent Live Remake. I wasn't sure that the live version of the book/cartoon would be that good but I was wrong. The voice over's were perfect and it was funny enough to keep me engaged. I knew the story but I was still intrigued. The crows had me rollin!

Interesting to see how he got his "leatherface" and how things were kind of set up for the Other Films. It actually was pretty much the same as any Texas Chainsaw movie. Didn't really stray from the plotline.

British Accents Galore! This movie takes place in one day. It kinda reminds me of a British Clerks that takes place in a coffee shop. The condom wrapper will suprise you but make sense.

This is the story of one kid's messed up childhood in New York. He runs away from everyone that loves him and then finally comes back after like 20 years to help his sick father go to the Hospital. Everybody has shitty lives so, there isn't much room for upliftment in this movie. Good acting.

this movie is definately a family movie. It got kinda corny & cheesy towards the end but the movie was well done. Ben Stiller is hilarious! Robin Williams is great. Owen Wilson is small...

This may be really easy for you to get lost during this movie. Sudden flashbacks, body doubles, magic, illusion and great acting all keep you on your toes. Christian Bale is different with a english accent. Hugh Jackman is convincing in his role. If you can follow it you will be suprised that this is a good movie. Oh by the way I liked the Wolverine vs. Batman matchup.

A younger Keanu Reeves showing off his acting chops. A story about a young man that falls in love with his Aunt. (not blood relation) Peter Faulk plays a writer that writes about the whole experience and actually instigates most of it for drama. I won't tell you who ends up with who. Fair ending. A bit boring in the middle.

What if the meek did inherit the earth? Luke Wilson's character takes part in a military experiment and wakes up 500 years later. Everyone is stupid and he is the smartest man alive. This is a very funny movie. This is a "Guys will like it better than girls" Movie.

Wow! the acting in this movie is horrible. Trey Parker is funny yes... but it is corny as hell. I'm glad to say that I've seen it though. I think Trey Parker and Matt stone are two funny Mf's. Very Silly.

This movie covers the full day of RFK's assassination. From start to finish and it gives in depth views of the people that were affected that horrible day. All Star Cast! I mean it. Everyone was in this movie.

Will Smith is consistantly good. This movie can be a bit frustrating because this guy is always struggling for money. I know how that can be so, it was a little frustrating. Good movie with a good ending.

This movie has a lot of people in it. Decent movie but no ending. It's like they ended it in the middle. There is a scene in this movie that may keep you from eating beef ever again. Have you ever seen a cow slaughtered? Well, not after you've seen this movie. It's disturbing. Acting is good but the movie lacked direction.

Very Good. Politically Smart. We need someone like Tom Dobbs in the Oval Office. This movie is really great when it comes to what is going on in congress/senate/white house. People afraid of change and new ways of presenting democracy. Oh yes this movie will open your mind. Very good Robin!

If you are suseptable to seizures I would advise against watching this movie. This movie will mess with you. This movie revolves around addiction's and how they tear you up. Marlon Wayans did fairly well for his serious role. Definately not one to watch if you are messed up in any way.

A movie about Used Cars' Sales. They definately need to "update" this movie. Nothing is done like it was.. I should know. It was kinda neat hearing some of the jargon we use but, it was pretty unbelievable otherwise. Funny in spots but it was made in 1980 so you can't expect much.

All Star Cast! Holly Hunter was hilarious in this movie. She plays a woman that has teret's syndrome. Anyway, that's not important. Robin Williams and Giovanni Ribisi are awesome going against each other. Definately a black comedy.

Better than the First 2. It did a great job of tying all of them together. Also the whole reason Jigsaw plays these games are to teach the participants to redirect they're evil ways or they will die. This was a huge theme in this movie. Very well done.

I use to watch this movie a lot. When I had a day to waste of course. Its a long movie. I always tried to pick up on stuff I hadn't seen before and formulate my own conclusion on who shot JFK. The information won't be released until 2029 so, even when it is released we probably won't know what really happened. Just watch the movie obtain the facts and formulate your own opinion.

David Schwimmer and Chris Cooper play two plastic surgeons that discover the art of "fake boobs". Then it's kind of like a rock and roll story gone bad (like they all do with drugs and stuff). Decent movie... I mean you can't go wrong with the amount of breasts you see in this movie.

This movie was frustrating to watch. This girl in Jr. High was awkward and constantly being made fun of and there was never a moment where she stuck up for herself or even gave an insight to her deeper feeling. She was being pushed around so much I wanted to do something for her but I can't because she isn't real. So, in that fact the movie made me frustrated and relieved to see the credits roll.

High School Football movie. Terry O'Quinn from Lost (John Locke) plays the Coach and there are a lot of cliche things in the movie but they changed up the flow in a couple parts and it was refreshing. I will say Elvis Jackson was a bit unreasonably upset a lot which didn't make sense at times.

Corny and 80's cheese! Phoebe Cates was like Jessica Alba of the 80's. Mathew Modine does become a better actor I swear! There's a lot of boobs and that in itself got the movie a half star better than I would have given it.

Dane Cook is Awesome! This movie is made in the classic comedy mold. Chevy Chase & Dan Akroyd would be proud. Dane Cook has taken the torch and watch him go. With so many funny people in this movie its hard not to be hilarious!

Despite this being a made for TV movie it was very good. Jon Voight is an excellent actor and proves it with his role as Eddie the discouraged maintenance man at an amusement park. It was like a cross between Big Fish & What Dreams May Come. Good Flick minus the Made For TV Budget.

This movie had me hooked in the beginning. Started with good ideas and then halfway through it the movie got way cheesy/corny. The lines that came out of they're actor spoken mouths were just horrible. The "force ball" fights were boring and the ending was like "ho-humm". In short good ideas but didn't do anything with them.

A movie where Michael Douglas cheats on his wife. Wow what a stretch. I really don't know what he saw in Glenn Close but whatever. This movie is all about what guys fear the most. I psycho girl that you have dated and she just won't leave you alone. Better yet she loves to cook Bunny rabbits.

Similar to "When Harry Met Sally". Except they meet many, many times before they finally realize they are meant to be together. As romantic comedy's go this one was really good.

At first I thought this was totally Hollywood's answer for getting Jessica Alba into a swimsuit. Ok, that's just some of it. That was worth a half star in it's self. Some of the logic used in this movie was way from left field but somehow manages to come together. It was better than I thought it would be.

A movie that uses thumbsucking as a metaphore to say that "yeah some people have problems, and they just need to deal with it instead of diagnosing it and taking medication to get "better"". Decent movie but I hope you have patience.

Many stories that tie in together at the end. You have to invest a lot of time with this movie to find out the outcome of these people's lives. The running commentary helps keep things straight becuase if you miss something your like "what?" Good investment of time and a good movie.

No point. This movie is suppose to follow people's lives after September 11th and how they are coping with life. The Sept. 11th tragedy was mentioned once on the one year anniversary date from a newscaster and that was the only time it was mentioned. We followed these different lives around and how crappy their lives were and in the end there was no payoff and no point to the movie. Maybe there was a deeper meaning I just didn't have the committment to find it. Actors were good movie was meaningless.

Funny? Serious? Who knows... but I do know this. It was a very well put together movie and Will Ferrell did terrific. I thought they could have included Maggie Gyllenhaal a little more in the plot but the way it was done works.

Russell Crowe was OK in his role of a cocky Stock Trader. Albert Finney was Fantastic in his small part. The plot was a bit see through and predictable but all together was a decent flick. It made Tiffany want to drink wine!

This is more than a "golf" movie. It takes place when poor stayed poor and the rich looked down on them for it. This Amateur comes out of nowhere and blows everyone away making them eat their own words. Okie Dokie Go For Brokie!

Ok, I understand why this got best picture. It had some very good actors in it... ok, some of the best! But, the ending was so jacked up. I can deal with it because I think more movies need to take the "other way out" ending. Hollywood has become predictable and movies like this shake that up a bit. Good movie. A Must See!

Kept some things classic and changed some other things like ... oh I don't know... major character... you know... The Mandarin!!! They made him a ghost! WTF! Some things are OK but when you completely change a character like that I have issues with it. Only because these are characters that have proven to "work" and since they get an hour and 1/2 to shine they feel they need to change major points of interest. I'm against change.

Excellent! There isn't many movies that Edward Norton has done that hasn't been good. Special Effects Great! Plot and Story Twist was especially pleasing... even though we figured it out halfway through the movie.

9-12-07 --This movie was just fun! I wasn't expecting much going into it but I was pleasantly suprised. Justin Long is the future. Jonah Hill was F'n hilarious and ya gotta love Lewis black!

Damn Goldie Hawn is gettin' old. The movie was good but a little short.

Going down in history as one of the great Album movies. Oh yeah, it was 10 times better than Purple Rain. It blew everything else ever done out of the water. Good movie.

Creepy tone. Robin Williams is awesome as usual. It really doesn't go anywhere plot wise. Just does a plot circle. ( I just made that up!)

Classic Chevy. Now this is funny Chevy not boring Chevy. This is the Chevy that everyone use to love to watch. Anyway Andy Farmer moves to the Country to write a novel. Everything isn't as perfect as he thought. Craziness. They get the town to help sell their house and guess what happens. Watch the movie.

Interesting to watch. Only if your a comic book fan. You would definately think this was boring if you weren't a fan of Stan Lee or Kevin Smith. Good information in this interview.

02-26-08 --Awesome! Adam Sandler always has good heartfelt movies and this is definately heartfelt. Tuggin at your heartstrings. Great concept and idea for a movie.

11-02-07 --Michael Keaton - Way too young to be president. OK, the first daughter wants to go to college and experience a normal college career. Not Possible when her dad is the President of the United States. Sorry, Katie your just going to have to live with Mr. Cruise and ride this one out! Pre-Cruise Movie actually. Does she really get her wish? Well she gets to drive away in a pos car at the end of the movie that's all I will say.

11-06-07 --This movie goes behind the scenes of two movie stars that had it all on the screen and off the screen. Until the Actress decided to go her own separate way. It wasn't the smartest decision seeing how the fans couldn't get over the breakup. There final movie is coming out and they have to promote it to become a hit. Drama = Hit. John Cusack and Julia Roberts are good as always.

11-07-07 --Hilarious! I guess I wouldn't have expected anything less from Adam Sandler. A Happy Madison production which means all the old favorites are in this movie. That makes it fun as well. Like, Rob Schneider... I loved his character of the asian. It's funny they use all these people in every movie and bring in like 2-3 big named people. This movies case it is Kevin James, Jessica Biel, & Ving Rames. You need to see this movie! Classic Adam Sandler. Wait! Not Billy Madison classic. More like Big Daddy classic.

11-16-07 --Hilarious! This is just like watching a full length feature of the 15 minute episodes. Carl doesn't do so well in the end. But, the tasty trio learn their origin and save the city from peril. Man this movie was awesome!

11-17-07 --They did really good on this movie. The animation didn't take away one bit from the movie. I remember slightly reading this book in high school but didn't remember very much. Beowulf is a warrior and is commisioned to destroy a monster named Grendel. From there I won't give too much away. Good Flick!

11-17-07 --Written and directed by Chris Rock. You can definately tell this is a lot of material from his stand up. Which in case makes it very funny. There are serious parts as in the part were he wants to cheat on his wife but he can't because he loves her. Good movie.

11-18-07 --This movie takes me back! Oh yes... to a simpler time when zippers were everywhere and breakin' was the coolest thing to do. Jamie Kennedy is hilarious and Michael Rosenbaum (Lex on Smallville) is a comedic genius. He needs to be in more movies I tell ya. Booty Traps!!!

Amazing, Spectacular & Sensational!!! This movie tops 1 & 2 and it ties up the two nicely. Having 3 villains in this movie did not make things "hard to follow". It was done with a fantastic flair! I thought having Gwen Stacey and her father Captain Stacey in this movie was a nice touch. For those that don't follow the comic books Gwen was Peter's 1st love and she was also the person that Green Goblin dangled from the New York Bridge and asked Spidey to make the "decisions that heroes have to make". That is when Gwen Died and Peter pursued MJ (the unattainable girl). In the movies they mixed the two characters into one (MJ) and now bam! there's Gwen Stacey in the mix causing Jealousy and everything. New Goblin wasn't as bad as I imagined. Sandman was done well. Venom was great. I thought they could have worked on a few things that I won't mention due to spoiling the movie. I could have done without the constant "showing of the faces" they did. But that's hollywood and you have to deal with it. In all, I loved this movie and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so that I can watch it all the time.

11-30-07 --I'm still trying to figure out why they made a sequel to the original. Big Mamma's House meets Uncle Buck is a good way to describe it. This movie also makes no logical sense. There are a lot of "oh c'mon give me a break" moments. Ya know, when something happens in the movie that is suppose to be ignored when logics fail.

12-01-07 --Hey I know lets make a movie about a girl surfer that can't really surf. Better yet lets make the audience think she can surf but in actuality she will have peaked at 13. Aside from Kate Bosworth the acting is pretty horrible in this movie. I think it may be the writing that makes it so bad. It teeter totters on a "girl power" movie but doesn't really have enough strength to be anything but "bad". I'll give it a half a star just because of the amount of bikini's.

12-13-08 --Christmas Classic. I can watch this movie every year and never get tired of it. Love it, Love it, Love it. It's almost a tradition to break it out after thanksgiving and watch it once or twice.

12-07-07 --Rocky is back! Old, but he's back. This movie has just as much heart as any of the Rocky movies. Good story and good acting. Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli from Heroes) co-stars as Rocky's sun. He definately has the "Stallone Lip". If you like Rocky then you'll love this movie. Better than I thought it would be.

12-07-07 --This is a sad movie. Not sad as in horrible but sad as in "awwwww sad". Also, you must know that this is not a movie about an actual search for the Fountain of youth. It is a metaphor. You have to watch this movie very carefully and try to catch everything they throw at you to have a fighting chance of understanding it. I think they leave a lot to interpretation which is the whole idea behind Life/Death. Reminds me of movies such as "What Dreams May Come", and any other movie that is delivered in parts scattered throughout the movie. Watch it if you have patience and if you follow the plot then it may be an enjoyable movie for you.

12-09-07 --I've seen stompin' before Live and it doesn't seem like this. It's like everywhere this kid goes everyone knows a routine and they have their own Kid & Play Houseparty goin' on. No actual Houseparty's but the dance routines is what I'm getting at. It's almost like a guys version of "Bring it On". Pretty darn similar. If your in the mood to see a bunch of guys acting like "dancin'" around is really important and if your a closet Yell Leader then this is your movie. Not for me.

12-11-07 --This movie gives you a good look at the rich & fabulous and how they raise their children. They don't. Nannies do. It's really sickening when you think about it. The richer you get the less connected to human emotion you are. What really drove me nuts though was Scarlett's character. She couldn't speak up for herself hardly ever and that just drives me insane when someone can't stick up for themselves. Chick flick.

12-12-07 --If you looking for a who-dunnit murder mystery this is the movie. Halle Berry plays a reporter bent on bringing someone down. Maybe she picked the wrong person maybe she didn't. Who is the murderer? It's all up in the air and you won't find out until the last 5 minutes of the movie.

12-12-07 --All-star cast! I mean, a bunch of people are in this movie. Very reminiscent of Independence day or an old "martian" space movie. It is a little bit too silly for words and there is some bad acting but that is what makes this movie unique. You gotta love it when they're walking around with those laser guns trying to find a way out. When they were filming I'm sure they were thinking "what am I doing", "has my career went this far downhill?". Costars a young Jack Black and a young Natalie Portman. Aakk Aakk!!

12-14-07 --This is one of those chick flick love story's that all girls should gush over. That's not always a bad thing. The women characters drove me crazy with their in-sensible-ness but hey it wouldn't have been a full length movie if they were sensible. A young Robert Downey Jr. proves to Marisa's character that love is not always found in destiny but it can be right in front of your face when you just let go and let it find you.

12-16-07 --Interesting movie. Long but interesting. I never knew what went on behind sliding doors but now I do. The Geisha was for a more civilized time when the company of a beautiful woman was all that was expected. They were there for pure entertainment and companionship. Good movie.

12-17-07 --I thought this movie might come off really corny. But who am I kidding this is Will Ferrell I'm talking about. Hilarious movie. It's good to see that even Will Ferrell can make Ice Skating a hilarious sport. Awesome!

12-19-07 --In the late 80's they decided to remake A Christmas Carol with our favorite Scrooge. It's kinda cool with the amount of Ghostly type stuff but then it has its retarded moments. I wish they would remake this movie again and have it star people I like.

12-21-07 --About as good as you could expect from any Shrek/Dreamworks animation type movie. There were funny parts, there were sad parts, and there were redeeming feel good parts. It had it all. Obviously it is technically a better movie than the first 2 just because of the strides in technology. If you've seen the first two this movie is a must. If you don't see it then you probably could imagine what it would be like.

12-26-07 --They did a great job with Doctor Strange. I was afraid they would change too much but just like the Marvel Animated Features before it they really took a little bit from everywhere. Wong wasn't bald? Why change that? Anyway, The Sorcerer Supreme had an origin story to tell and they did a good job telling it.

12-27-07 --Excellent. Love these guys together in this ansemble cast. They changed it up a bit from stealing money from a casino. Which they actually didn't change it. Nevermind. Super Dave Osborne Makes a cameo appearance as Matt Damon's Dad. Not really sure why though. Oceans 13 is better than 12 and just as good as 11.

12-28-07 --Not your typical holiday flick. Not so cheerful and festive. Many, Many cusswords. I didn't think Billy Bob's character was ever going to turn the corner in this movie. Oh, and Lauren Graham's character, she must have really been hitting rock bottom. Did they have to do what they did to Bernie Mac's character? I mean really! I felt really sorry for the fat kid. poor kid. But he got his in the end. "Bad things happen when you party naked".

12-29-07 --12(Dec.)+2+9(todays date)=23. OR 1+2 (Dec.)+29(todays date)=32 which is 23 reversed. This movie may cause insanity, neurotic tendencies, & insomnia. Please do not view if you are prone to obsessive compulsive disorders. This movie can infect your brain like a virus does a computer. You'll start seeing the number 23 in your everyday life and you'll begin to wonder if this number is ruling your life. Jim Carrey was very good in this movie. I suggest Go see it!

05-03-08 -- Jack Black & Ben Stiller... its exactly what you think. Uncomfortably funny. I mean you got Jack Black's "crazy fat guy" funny and you got Ben Stiller's "how did I get into this situation" type of funny. Envy explores what would happen if you passed on your best friends idea/invention and he made millions of dollars only for you to watch him spend it... insanely. Christopher Walkens appearance in the movie was definately a well added chemistry mix. Love the Walken "serious" funny guy thing.

07-14-08 --Jack Nicholson in his prime. Maybe this was before his prime. I saw this once as a child but only remembered bits and pieces. Now that I've seen it recently I can honestly say that this is a good movie. Didn't like the ending too much and it did give me a creepy feeling (like when I was younger) but I think that mainly has to do with the music and the ending combined. Jack plays a good crazy person and they had other "crazies" that fit the part too. Christopher Lloyd, that long faced guy, Danny Devito and other lesser stars. Scatman Crothers that played the voice of "Jazz" from The Transformers cartoon (80's) makes an appearance as a night orderly.

11-29-08 --The third one seems to be 1 too many. You know, not having the usual "head Elf - Bernard" really made a difference. Especially since they used that Breslin kid that was in "2" but the thing is he went through a growth spurt and ELVES DO NOT GROW! Which made it seem like they just threw this one together. This movie is way more cornier than the previous two and I hope they don't continue to get cornier. Maybe it's time for Scott Calvin to pass on the Santa Clause Jacket to someone else.
