I usually like Diane Keaton..but her character was too involved in her daughters life-bossy and over-protective. Put me in mind of several other movies I've seen..ie 'Hanging-up'(they seem to always be on the cell), 'Monster-in-law'(Mother not liking daughter's choice in men) and a few others. There were a few laughs. Not a DVD I care to buy, but worth a rental. |

The teenage daughter and 3 year old son(who can't talk by the way) see these nightmarish apparitions in an old house their parents just moved into. (I would have never set foot in this house!) I liked the concept of this movie..kept me wondering what would happen next. Small town in Alaska, soon to start it's 30 days in the dark by next sunset. Phones found burned, sled dogs killed and helicopter damaged beyond repair. Perfect for a bunch of vampires to try and take over the town. |
