Meet the Parents
exellent comedy this, and showcases deniros talent as a comedian, although its stiler with the more slapstick, deniro shows reserve and is still very funny, a great double act, and quite scary if your due to be in this situation

The Score
deniro brando norton, need i say more, not amazing, but watching 3 generations best actors is a treat, brando in a small role, not doing much, but its all in the face, and deniro and norton work well with each other as they pull off a job, a must for norton fans

What Just Happened? (2008,  R)
What Just Happened?
robert de niro is a great watch, as a movie producer, with 2 worrys on his mind, a ending to his film, which must be changed, involving a shooting of a dog, and on a new film due to start, bruce willis in a beard, which is not good news, and with family pressure adding to worries, he must get on top of things, a satire on hollywood, not really cutting edge, the player did it much better, and wag the dog, also starring bob, a more political viewpoint, being better examples, but it is entertaining, and with small roles from bruce willis playing himself, a great laugh, sean penn, doing the same, and a exellent john turtorro as a stressed agent, some good moments all round

Stardust (2007,  PG-13)
Stardust
a great fantasy film following in the footsteps of princess bride, and any terry gilliam film, or so i think, we see tristian, a young man, going of into the fantasy world next to his village, to retrieve a fallen star to inpress his love interest, he finds a girl, who is the star, but after her are witches so they can regain there beauty, and as she has come in possession of a diamond, a family of brothers need to retrieve it to settle who will be the new king to there throne, killing off each other along the way, not seen many great fantasy films lately, not like this, a great old fasioned tale taking us back to what i think a lot of 80s films were about, a lot of charm throughout, and a great pace, it never lets up, while also cramming in as much plot and charactors as possible, michelle pfeiffer is great as the evil witch, great to se her doing great work again, and a special mention goes to deniro, making his small role very memorable, watching the trailor i sident expect the turn his charactor takes, and everyone else on top form, great fantasy setting, superb efects, and from mathew vaughn, showing british gangster is not his only thing, charlie cox, is inocent and holds his own as tristian, and although i found danes a bit annoying, it was a minor distraction, all in all a great fantasy film,

Righteous Kill
deniro/pacino, first things firt, seeing these two share the screen for more than one scene, is a joy, deniro clearly showing his age now, has the better role than pacino, but with some nice turns throughout, there a joy to watch, the story is a little diferent for a who done it cop thriller and nicely done, nothing that heat was 13 years previously, but it proves that you can get these fine actors to read a book, and something interesting will come from t
