The purple Deoxys has fully healed to leave to find the other green egg which Tory's parents are testing in a lab. Ash mistakes Tory for a Pokémon trainer as they battle together against Rafe (Sebastian Arcelus) & Sid (Jeff Kramer). Ash meets Tory's parents have fun that night with their Pokémon until they see a mysterious purple aurora, signaling the return of the purple Deoxys. Ash, Pikachu, & Tory to help the Deoxys to find the green egg to return of Rayquaza.

Entei kidnaps Ash's mother Delia brainwashes her into thinking she is the girl's mother. Molly notices that Ash, Brock, and Misty are trying to enter the mansion. Delia is surprised to see Ash and with him tries to convince Molly to leave and return to reality.

Ash is faint but Manaphy is telepathically sends a message to Ash from May saying to be strong. Phantom steals Manaphy but Ash saves Manaphy again in in a glowing yellow streak of light - "The true crown of the sea."
