Strike (Stachka) (1925, Unrated)
it was really intense, i thought some parts were even hard to watch (the water hoses scene, the dead cats hanging, the cow getting killed, the child's death) but i guess it's appropriate for such a powerful subject. some scenes were also very poetic, which created a balance between all the actions taking place in the film. |
