Maybe i'm not too generous with it , but it bored me. Most of all i haven't fun because i've been disappointed to see so silly and somehow pathetic Scientist (...that umbrella..!) . It's not for me to see Mr. Cushing as a funny man... and the adventure it wasn't so exciting, i must say. Forgive me, Peter ! argh!

funny and yes, i saw the version with porno footages (a Ming in action!) . Italian version had laughing quotes in Sicilian dialet. One of my first XXX porno i watched (haeemm.. actually i did some small 'changes' on my Document so to enter in the theaters, augh!)

this and UFO are my fave 70s TV serial.
Spazio 1999 (in italian) it was a RAI/ITC co-production and it's still very popular here. Both 2 seasons are on sale as collector's edition de-luxe box set and have some gadgets too. The best season it's the first anyway (starring B.Morse as Scientist and best friend of Koenig). The plot is fascinating. Alpha Base has 400 ppl when the moon left the earth's orbit. A neverending trip, a continous adventure and meetings with strange creatures (some monsters too). The earthlings (o Moonians...) needing to find a new planet where to live, a new Earth but everytime there are soo many troubles..

I never purchased italian dvd of this spin-off because i know that 's a mix of 2 episodes of 2nd season, starring Catherine Schell ( a mutant princess). Average rating of 2nd season it's my rating for this one.
Sci-Fi fans, try to find boxes of complete serie. They're good.


Ps: at last, after 48 episodes, there will be the happy end, hurrah!
