Sign Languages

An orangutan named Casey trains by Dr. Dolly McKeever (Louise Fletcher) is thrown from a truck near Toby's home when Toby Wyler (Sean Gerlis) is deaf & has secret friend named Casey can communicate with sign language to introduced to his sister named Jill Wyler (Bridgette Andersen). The friendship between Toby & Casey the Orangutan have a lot in common.

Rick Heller (Wil Horneff) to keep him out of trouble when his mother: Margaret Heller (Helen Shaver) is teaching to communicate through the use of sign language with Katie the Gorilla.

A deaf and troubled young woman Sarah Norman (Marlee Matlin) is working as a janitor at a school for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing in New England. An energetic new teacher named James Leeds (William Hurt) arrives at the school to encourage Sarah to set aside her isolated life getting frustration to let her learn how to communication as she already uses sign language but James attempts to get Sarah to communicate eventually strains their relationship to a breaking point.

Helen Keller (Patty Duke) is blind, deaf & mute since infant. Her parents seek out for help from the Perkins Institute to send him a 1/2 blind Yankee schoolgirl named Annie Sullivan (Anne Bancroft) tutors their daughter: Helen is frustrated, violent, & stubbornness inability to communication in fingerspelling. Annie becomes Helen's persistence & love teacher to learn to communication by saying water when Annie threw water on her face. Helen is finally learning to communication in fingerspelling & to use braille.

A young woman named Margaret Ryder (Mare Winningham) is communication in sign languages with her hearing-impaired parents named Abel Ryder (Ed Waterstreet) & Janice Ryder (Phyllis Frelich) are both deaf & longtime members of the National Theatre for the Deaf. She marries to William Anglin (Frederick Lehne).

Based on the book of "Helen and Teacher: The Story of Helen Keller & Anne Sullivan Macy" by Joseph Lash is the story about Annie Sullivan Macy (Blythe Danner) married to John Macy (Perry King) & she is supporting her student named Helen Keller (Mare Winnington) at Radcliffe College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
