Ski Moviefest

As far as I know this was the genesis of ski movies. Those crazy teenyboppers decided to take a break from beachpartying and headed to the slopes for some skipartying and history was made. Frankie Avalon, James Brown, a weird yodeling polar bear on skis and a plot borrowing heavily from Some Like It Hot make for a swingin' good time.

Police Academy on skis, thank you god . PLUS: Where else can u see a young George Lopez doing a Rodney Dangerfield impression.

Oh if only all the worlds conflicts could be settled by chinese downhill, a beautiful dream yes, but a dream none the less.

The guy who played Chainsaw(Summer School) and the guy who played Boner(Growing Pains) in one movie! does life get any sweeter than this? The incredibly likable cast make this one of the best ski movies ever.

Have I ever mentioned I love ski movies. I don't ski personally cause I would probably kill myself, I just like these silly movies. Now this ski movie had a bigger budget than most so it has some star power (Lee Friggin Majors) , a recognizable soundtrack, and a pretty decent script. It follows the same old formula but the Kevin Smith influenced jokes give it a fresh feel. In other words, SEE THIS MOVIE.
