What a wonderful movie! It's a romantic story about older guy falling in love with 18 year old maid, but masked in Bunnuel's fantastic symbolism. There are so many perfectly done scenes and roles that leaves you with a feeling you've just watched a masterpiece! That's the feeling I get everytime I watch one of his movies. He is a genius! I recommend this movie to everyone...

Fantastic movie! It's like a fairy tale but for grown ups! Maybe I'm wrong but it seemed to me as there are a lot of fairy tale characters in it. Like, for example, I found Little Red Riding Hood, a Cyclop, evel witch with apple from Snow White, Oliver Twist and many many others.

A classic, everybody knows it and everybody likes it!

This is a perfect description of human mind, thoughts we never say but want to, and secrets we have and like to cherish. But there is ending for every secret, every game and one player has to bring it out to the end! With such a perfection in acting and absolutely most strong dialogs this movie is above average, no it's shocking and it's sad but in the same time so powerfull.

It has a unique atmosphere, and it is one very special movie. I've never seen such a strong acting and it left me totaly puzzled. Story is in one way similar to later Lynch's film Mullholand Dr. I definitely have to see it once again.

I just love this old musicals! This one is a classic off course, and everything about this movie is just so positive!

Very untypical horror movie! It reminds me a bit of Aronofsky's work. It has that feeling of uniqueness and it's a movie you'll defenetly remember! Very original!

It's not usual, it's something to think about

This is one of those movies that are far from comercial and far from blockbuster category. It's more for real cinemaniacs 'cause it poses so many interesting questions and if you know how to watch it, I believe you'll love it. It has many comical scenes and you may even place it in comedy genre. Lets say it's a psycho thriller dressed up in a comedy suit. Loved it and bought it for my movie collection! :)

I liked it a lot. It is not a real biographical movie, it's an interpretation of a Diane Arbus biography. Very odd and interesting...

This is a very confusing and deeply metaphoric film. Visualy it's done with a great perfection. This movie is something you will think about for the next few days at least. Well I have just seen it, and I think that I'll be preoccupied with all of it's symbolic for a long time. I have so many versions in my head, but I think that the main subject of the movie is the nature of a women. It's very connected to Bible and there are a lot of Biblical motives and metaphores. I really have to search some other imressions on the internet and compare it to mine!
