Stephen King's It (1990, Unrated)
After Stanley Kubrick's The Shining and The Green Mile in my opinion the best Stephen King story on screen ever released. |

Maximum Overdrive (1986, R)
I own this one on VHS. I bought it 15 years ago and this movie is really not worth watching, unless you're a die hard Stephen King fan. This film is full of stupid and screaming dumb women, so toally irritating. And the rebel appearance of Emilio Estevez hardly rises the quality of a movie only made for men. |

Stand by Me (1986, R)
This is the only Stephen King story without any reference to horror or the supernatural. And I liked it very much because the characters in this story are very believable and they are well played by four very good young actors. There's simply no room for irritation in this movie. The scenery is beautiful and the story is innocent and strong. Definitely worth watching. |

The Mist (2007, R)
I have seen so many movies based on Stephen King novels. In every story some topics come back, one of them is the country people obsessed with religion. I almost screamed in theatre because I was so irritated on that woman. This story was predictable except for the end. A very sad end, not the end I expected. |

The Shining (1980, R)
There will never be made any better horror movie than this one! For sure! This movie is awfully CREEPY. I've seen it at least 10 times, watched it today again, and it is still as creepy as the first time. That's because of the SCARY soundtrack during the entire movie and the incomparable acting abilities of Jack Nicholson, who is even more creepy than the background sound. |

The Tommyknockers (1993, R)
I like this adaptation of this Stephen King novel. Not the best film adaptation but certainly not the worst. Rather exciting and I wanted absolutely to know the secret although the answer wasn't as shocking as I expected. And then it even started to be a little bit cliché and predictable. |
