STORIES THAT STILL NEED A GOOD FILM

Each time you hear a good real story or read a book, you think, "when are they going to make a movie from this?". The problem is that not always an appropiate version is done. While (for example) "V for Vendetta" or "Dog day afternoon" got a good version since the beginning, others, such as "The quiet american", had to wait for a second version. These are a group of films that originated from a good idea, but didnŽt get their best (or at least, that is my/the critics opinion; definitively, not good or acknowledged enough for what it was expected from them). Maybe youŽll do the definitive version when you are a director!

The Black Dahlia
I did not like the film, but Mia Kirshner work is INCREDIBLE. Much better than other more famous actresses. I recommend to watch the first part of this film just to admire what she does, even at a so short role. It is also interesting the biography of the author, whose mother died in a very similar way to the Black Dahlia, so he was obsessed about violent murders.

The X-Files - Fight the Future
Like two chapters of the TV show (one of my faves), and not the best ones. The show is caracterized by subtility and suspence, why showing so many things?
