American Yakuza (1995, R)

This is a B-Movie gem starring Vigo Mortensen as an undercover cop who infiltrates the Yakuza and the ever posed question is asked, duty or honor? A great find for Yakuza and Vigo fans alike!

Crying Freeman (1995, Unrated)

This movie is a very cool movie adaptation of the anime "Crying Freeman". Marc Dacascos is perfect for the role and has the martial arts background. An overall entertaining action packed flick.

The King of the Kickboxers (Karate Tiger 4) (No Retreat, No Surrender 4) (1991, R)

This is one of my favorite low budget movies that entertains you like no other B-movie can. Plenty of action and Billy Blanks as a villain. Do not take the film too seriously, just enjoy the well choreographed fights!

Drive (1996, R)

A solid B-action flick that packs a punch!! Surprisingly good martial arts choreography and action sequences!!!

Savate (The Fighter) (1997, R)

This was a solid martial arts B flick with Olivier Gruner. Good fight scenes especially the one where Gruner fights against Marc Singer (The Beastmaster)!!!

This straight to video/DVD cage fighting movie is actually very entertaining and worth watching. Lou Ferrigno plays a "Lenny'esque" type of character from "Mice And Men" with brute strength that gets tricked into cage fighting!! Enjoyable!!

Yeah, I know it's friggin' Lorenzo Lamas but this was actually a decent low budget flick with plenty of martial arts action and a little heart. It's worth a watch!! Lookout for an appearance by B-movie martial arts action star Gary Daniels!!!

If you are a fan of the anime and manga series, DO NOT WATCH!! It totally destroys anything good from the original series and follows only pieces of the story. I heard the commentary on the DVD and Gary Daniels never even watched the series and had no idea there was a series made. I did watch it all the way through and some of the action is mediocre at best. If you must watch it, remember to forget anything of the original series and manga and see it only as a martial arts film.

A very cheesy 80's action flix with Van Damme as a russian villain! A tribute to Bruce Lee as his ghost trains a bullied teenager!! Cheesy but cool!!

Shootfighter: Fight to the Death (1993, R)

A cheesy but solid martial arts actioner in the vein of BLOODSPORT with your favorite 80's bully, William Zabka!!! Yes! Not only is he the good guy in this one but he also re-teams with KARATE KID alumni Martin Kove. Bolo Yeung also goes from villain to hero as he trains Zabka to hone his skills and kick ass! One of my favorite straight to video flix that's so bad it's good!
