August Rush (2007, PG)
OMG! This was... wow... my sister disagress with me, but I think this is like Oliver Twist modernized and with music, but Wizard was TOO MUCH like Fegan for my liking, and how they had that "family". Creepy. But I loved how he was couting and the guy was like "what?" and then the mother said how long it was. That was great. I also like when the dad and him were playing music. I was like OMG COME ON! Cause his dad was RIGHT THERE!.... he just.... didn't know it.... and then the end was a little weird to, cause he turned around, and she knew, the dad didn't, and I think he might have known, but the dad found Lyla, and.. I forgot the dads name WHICH BOTHERS ME TO NO END.... but over all it was amazing! And I liked all the music! I don'tknow why, but there's something about it and I loved it! And I thought it to be very touching, and also very nicely done, how it went to him then his parents, and then it showed Lyla and him both in that park under the arch at differant times, him sad, her pregnant, and they didn't meet, and then when she "lost" the baby that was very sad. but I liked how it all came together. And if you notice, the arch was a key part. But while they were up there, the parents I mean, that looked like Wizard who was down there while they were playing. BUt that's just me. Anyways, it was amazing! And I like how none knew and at the end, Evan probably knew but Lyla and the Social Worker guy knew. So that leaves it open for you to make a story of your own, and I think it was ... magical.. |

The Number 23 (2007, R)
This is a very good movie about the number 23. I like it, and it's also a good horror movie. The way you can flip 23 and 32. And there's a verse like that in the bible that they show you at the end, and it says that all your sins will come back to you. That's what happens to Walter "Fingerling". It's a good thriler that has you talking about that number 23. |

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007, G)
I... it was an ok movie really. Better then Enchanted in MY opinion. Although my family disagrees. Whatever. I liked Natalies character the best, and I liked Mutant! That was good! It's amazing, yet kind of depressing, but I like how she gets the toy shop at the end, but I wish I know what happened with Mollys music. I was so hoping that it would play a part or that she would finish the song she was writing, but I'm not sure.. but it was still good. Someone shouted Cliff Hanger at the end of it, but I don't think so.... but all in all, I like how Natalie portrayted Molly and I liked the little boy and Mutant!!! and I liked the very beginging when the boy was telling the story and all!!! And the music Molly Mahoney played was very pretty! |
