4
Batman (1989,  PG-13)
Batman
In the whole scheme of the Batman movie series you could easily edit this one to make it appear as the next one after The Dark Knight.
5
Batman Returns (1992,  PG-13)
Batman Returns
This time the dark knight (Michael Keaton) is up against two of his greatest foes: the slinky and mysterious Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) and the disgusting and devious Penguin (Danny DeVito).

7
Batman & Robin (1997,  PG-13)

Batman & Mr. Freeze - SubZero (1998,  Unrated)
Batman & Mr. Freeze - SubZero
Great animated movie released the same year as the live action Batman & Robin movie.

This is how Batman & Robin (1997) should have been!!!

16
The Green Hornet (1974,  Unrated)
The Green Hornet
Van Williams and Bruce Lee star in this feature film released in 1974, a year after Bruce Lee's death.

This one is pretty much just episodes of the series edited together to make a 90 minute movie.

Makes for good viewing if you have never seen the series.

A sequel movie with the same concept called Fury Of The Dragon was also released.
17
Superman and the Mole-Men (1951,  Unrated)
Superman and the Mole-Men
George Reeves' debut appearance as Superman is better to know fans of the Adventures Of Superman TV series as a two part episode called The Unknown People at the end of season one.

The full version of this movie is found on the 4 disc version of Superman (1978).
18
Superman (1978,  PG)
Superman
The first Superman movie to star Christopher Reeve as The Man Of Steel.

The origin story is told and then we see Superman go up against Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman) who plans to create a major earthquake and destroy everything.

Featuring an awesome score by John Williams and also starring Marlon Brando, Terence Stamp and Margot Kidder, this movie is definitely one to be seen many times and is fondly remembered by the ones who have seen it.
19
Superman II (1981,  PG)
20
Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (2006,  PG)
Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut
26 years after it's release we finally get to see that Superman II would have been a much better movie if Richard Donner had been kept on as director.

This version is much better than the 1980 theatrical release. Better story, better effects and Marlon Brando makes an appearence again as Superman's father Jor-El.

The release of this movie also marked the first time two Superman movies were released in the same year.
21
Superman III (1983,  PG)
Superman III
In all reality this Superman adventure would have been better as a two part episode of a Superman television series.

It has a very excellent and very memorable Superman Vs Superman fight and a scene where Superman is dodging missiles and the person shooting them at him is doing it all on a computer.

But apart from those great scenes, the man of steel is overshadowed by Richard Pryor and the story is slightly dated and weak.

Also stars Robert Vaughn, Marc McClure, Anette O'Toole and Margot Kidder.
22
Superman IV - The Quest for Peace (1987,  PG)
Superman IV - The Quest for Peace
What can one say about Superman IV?

This was a good movie overall. It would have been better if it was not butchered before having a theatrical release. The Deleted Scenes on the new DVD show what the movie could have been like if they were not cut out.

The studio is to blame for the movie's failure. Not the director. Cannon did not know how to make a superhero movie.
23
Superman Returns (2006,  PG-13)
Superman Returns
With the bar set very high and the hope of an excellent Superman movie after the character's 18 year absence from the big screen this one delivers the goods and re-established Superman's big screen career. Let us all hope now he has returned for good.
24
Superman: Doomsday (2007,  PG-13)
Superman: Doomsday
Highly recommended animated movie in wihich Superman (Adam Baldwin) goes up against a creature called Doomsday.
25
Supergirl (1984,  PG)
Supergirl
The first and so far the only movie to showcase the talents of Superman's cousin, Supergirl!

Originally was to feature a cameo appearance by Christopher Reeve as Superman who would show Supergirl the world but Christopher Reeve was reluctant to play Superman again so it never happened.

Stars Helen Slater, Faye Dunaway, Marc McClure, Hart Bochner, Maureen Teefy, Peter Cook and Peter O'Toole.
26
Look Up in the Sky: The Amazing Story of Superman (2006,  Unrated)
Look Up in the Sky: The Amazing Story of Superman
This comprehensive and very detailed documentary about the man of steel covers everything you could possibly want to know from his comic book origins to the 2006 film Superman returns and everything in between that is associated with Superman.

Narrated by Kevin Spacey.
27
Spider-Man (2002,  PG-13)
Spider-Man
Luckily this one was made by a well known and respected studio and not by Cannon Films, who originally had the rights to make a Spiderman movie but dropped the idea when they saw what they did to Superman.

Tobey Maguire stars as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man who in his first movie goes up against The Green Goblin who is spreading terror through the city.

Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Rosemary Harris and Willem Dafoe also star.
28
Spider-Man 2 (2004,  PG-13)
29
Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3
Another excellent chapter in the Spider-Man series that just keeps getting better and better as it goes
30
Fantastic Four (2005,  PG-13)
Fantastic Four
this 2005 blockbuster (even though it would have been better if it was made in 2004 because that would have made more sense seeing the movie is called Fantastic Four)) is an excellent movie packed with lots of action, a great story and great visual effects. A more exciting and better movie than the sequel. Watch for a bra and panties scene from Jessica Alba and a shirtless scene from Chris Evans.
31
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007,  PG)
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
This sequel had great potential but would have been better if it was just the 4 of them on their own without the Silver Surfer character. Not that Silver Surfer was a bad addition there was just too much of him and not enough of our heroes. Chris Evans has another shirtless scene which will definitely please the ladies.
32
The Incredible Hulk (1977,  Unrated)
The Incredible Hulk
This one is the pilot episode of the 1977-1982 Incredible Hulk television series starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno.

The DVD also has the season 2 debut episode.

I have this one as an extras disc to my Incredible Hulk Returns movie.
33
The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988,  Unrated)
34
The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (1989,  Unrated)
The Trial of the Incredible Hulk
Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno return in the 2nd of three extended episodes of the Incredible Hulk TV series.

Watch for the first on screen appearence of Daredevil played by Rex Smith of Streethawk fame.

Also features a cameo by Hulk's creator, Stan Lee.
35
The Death of the Incredible Hulk (1990,  Unrated)
The Death of the Incredible Hulk
The last of the 90 minute Incredible Hulk TV series episodes unfortunately sees the Hulk go out with a drop and a thud instead of Banner finally finding a cure for his condition.

This would have lead to a fourth TV movie if Bill Bixby was still alive.
36
Hulk (2003,  PG-13)

Also features cameo appearances by Lou Ferrigno, the man who played the Hulk in the TV series and Robert Downey Jr who played Tony Stark in Iron Man.
38
X-Men (2000,  PG-13)
39
X2 (2003,  PG-13)
40
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006,  PG-13)
X-Men: The Last Stand
Great 3rd chapter in the X-Men series. Ends on a cliffhanger too so lets hope for a part 4.

Stars Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ana Paquin, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammar and Patrick Stewart.
41
Daredevil (2003,  PG-13)
Daredevil
The director's cut version is better than the theatrical release. Jennifer Garner looks very sexy as Elektra. Ben Affleck did an ok Job as Daredevil. Was he better than Rex Smith? I will leave that up to you to decide.

Also stars Michael Clarke Duncan, Colin Farrell, Erick Avari, Coolio and John Favreau.

Directed by Mark Steven Johnson.
42
The Incredibles (2004,  PG)
43
Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels (2002,  Unrated)
Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels
This one came with the 4 disc version of 2002's Spider-Man movie which i own on DVD.
44
