Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008,  R)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Surprisingly a great Romantic Comedy, predictable, but with some very funny moments. I wanted to watch this film for Russell Brand and yet it was Jason Segal who was definitely the shining star here.

I?m not known for my love of Rom-coms, but this was the best one I?ve seen in a while.
2
Run Fatboy Run (2007,  PG-13)
Run Fatboy Run
Not quite in the same leagues as 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz', bu an ok film none the less.

Some pretty funny moments and was great to see Dermot Moran in a bigger role, this one is more of a romantic comedy.
3
The Heartbreak Kid (2007,  R)
The Heartbreak Kid
Yes, all the funny bits were shown out in the trailer. This wasn't so much a comedy in the usual Ben Stiller sense, more of a funny situation with a few laughs (that's about 3 or 4 I counted). This film had me thinking that Ben Stiller had hit his peak and is on his way back down the other side.
4
Mr. Woodcock (2007,  PG-13)
Mr. Woodcock
A very funny film that lived up to the trailer and my sense of humour. So many trailors only show the funny parts, but there were many laugh out loud moments, throughout for me.

I've enjoyed Billy Bob Thornton in Comedy and serious films.
5
Confetti (2006,  R)
Confetti
This film I'm afraid was absolute rubbish, the worst of British Comedy
6
The Holiday (2006,  PG-13)
The Holiday
I surprised myself and I can?t quite believe I am going to say this, but I really enjoyed this from start to finish. Cameron Diaz was uncharacteristically funny.

This was a corny feel good film, yet completely endearing, it does everything for me that films like Bridget Jones didn?t.
7
Monster-in-Law (2005,  PG-13)
Monster-in-Law
Mildly amusing with a predictable outcome, an easy watching film that was surprisingly enjoyable.
8
The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005,  R)
The 40 Year Old Virgin
Through the first part of the film, the language and sexual references seemed to be well over the top and seemed to have been put in for shock factor, but once this warmed up, it turned in to quite a funny film, in particular the end scene was very funny.
9
Along Came Polly (2004,  PG-13)
Along Came Polly
There?s something of a film snobbery when it comes to films with Ben Stiller ? me, I judge on the individual film and I really like this one.

I love the character played by Jennifer Anniston (perhaps because I can relate to the dipsy, carefree, non-commited kind of girl).
10
Meet The Fockers (2004,  PG-13)
Meet The Fockers
I don't know why I've waited so long to watch this film, it's hillarious and much better than Meet the Parents.
11
50 First Dates (2004,  PG-13)
50 First Dates
Well for a Romantic Comedy I enjoyed this, I like Adam Sandler's humour anyway.
12
Garden State (2004,  R)
Garden State
Written, Directed and starring Zach Braff, fans of scrubs may be expecting the same sharp wit and sarcastic humour used in Scrubs, but the humour in this film is more of a natural humour, with occasional laugh out loud moments.

I feel it took a little time for you to realise which direction this was going in but seemed to liven up as soon as Natalie Portman appeared.

Quite a deep story for a rom-com, very watchable and very different.

...and finally a great Soundtrack!
13
Anger Management (2003,  PG-13)
Anger Management
Hillarously, frustratingly funny, my favourite Adam Sandler film, would drive anybody to anger. Jack Nicholson's performance was so irritatingly good.
14
Love Actually (2003,  R)
Love Actually
Surprisingly enough I did enjoy this film. Rom Coms are not my usual choice of film, but the various stories held my interest and of course it was packed full of comedy stars.
15
Maid in Manhattan (2002,  PG-13)
Maid in Manhattan
A rags to riches romance, that was not unlike the Hugh Grant/Martine McCucheon storyline in ?Love Actually?.

Sweet and watchable, but one to watch when it appears on tv, not worth renting or buying.
16
About a Boy (2002,  PG-13)
About a Boy
A quirky film with some great characters. Toni Collette can look so different from one film to the next. This is certainly one of my favourite Hugh Grant films, as he?s slightly less typecast in this film than most of his others. There is a really nice underlying message to this film.

Easy watching, fun in parts and emotive in others.
17
Two Weeks Notice (2002,  PG-13)
Two Weeks Notice
One of the more watchable Romantic comedies
18
Shallow Hal (2001,  PG-13)
Shallow Hal
Really funny with an underlying serious message
19
What Women Want (2001,  PG-13)
20
Me, Myself & Irene (2000,  R)
Me, Myself & Irene
Pretty funny film, Jim Carrey being his visual self.
21
Born Romantic (2001,  R)
22
Meet the Parents (2000,  PG-13)
Meet the Parents
This film is certainly a watchable and funny film, however as I am a huge fan of De Niro, I do prefer him playing a straight man, good film anyway though.
23
Mickey Blue Eyes (1999,  PG-13)
Mickey Blue Eyes
One of my favourite Comedies, which seems to include half the Sopranos cast. This is a real funny take on the Gangster genre, with some hilarious moments. The contrast of the ever so straight and wimpy Hugh Grant right in the middle of a big crime family has some funny implications.
24
Notting Hill (1999,  PG-13)
25
Fanny and Elvis (1999,  Unrated)
Fanny and Elvis
I must be sotening - a romantic comedy and not a bad one at that. Starring many known British actors and with a clash of classes, this is certainly on of the better rom-com's in my opion
26
City of Angels (1998,  PG-13)
27
There's Something About Mary (1998,  R)
28
Liar Liar (1997,  PG-13)
Liar Liar
Hillarious, it really does make you think about the question, what would happen if you could not lie?
29
My Best Friend's Wedding (1997,  PG-13)
30
The Wedding Singer (1997,  PG-13)
31
Nine Months (1995,  PG-13)
32
The Mask (1994,  PG-13)
The Mask
If there was ever a film Jim Carrey was made for, it has to be this one. The animated star, suits the alter ego role, with the all the energy and movements he provides.

It seems fairly strange to see ?introducing Cameron Diaz? on the opening credits, it certainly never did her career any harm.

I really do enjoy this film, even if it?s just for the ?Cuban Pete? scene.
33
Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994,  R)
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Old but pretty funny, Unfortunately as an English girl, this film represented the more upper class section of people and I tend to prefer more gritty English films.
34
Benny & Joon (1993,  PG)
Benny & Joon
Johnny Depp is very entertaining in this film, I just love the bread rolls scene. Funny film with a little serious side it as well.

VERDICT: Easy watching, laughed out loud a few times.
35
So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993,  PG-13)
So I Married an Axe Murderer
Very entertaining and funny
36
Boomerang (1992,  R)
37
Crocodile Dundee II (1988,  PG)
Crocodile Dundee II
Equally as great action as the first with an enjoyable new storyline, with a little more added comedy thrown in.

A very worthy sequel.
38
Roxanne (1987,  PG)
Roxanne
My favourite Steve Martin film, there is a good message in this
39
Can't Buy Me Love (1987,  PG-13)
Can't Buy Me Love
Another childhood favourite, underdog becomes popular
40
Crocodile Dundee (1986,  PG-13)
Crocodile Dundee
An absolute classic that?s still a great watch to this day. A love story with a difference when opposites attract in a culture clash as an adventure takes place. Paul Hogan will be remembered for a long time to come for this role.

One of those watch over and over type of films.
41
Romancing the Stone (1984,  PG)
42
Annie Hall (1977,  PG)
Annie Hall
A totally unique take on a love story, with very enjoyable performances by both Woody Allen and Diane Keaton. A great character who is filled with anxious energy and conspiracy theories, who babbles his way through educated quotes and half serious jokes, an enjoyable comedy which devles into the depths of the over thinker.
