A very well researched movie about the death of the German Hacker Karl Koch. The movie director studied documentary film but made a perfectly balanced mixture between a documentation and a feature film. Worth to see!
Definitely the best movie in which Nicolas Cage ever acted. Impressing pictures with an outstanding camera work and a fascinating play with light and shade.
An all-you-can-consume-package: Action, romance, drama and dolor. Another perfect symbiosis between Luc Besson and Jean Reno. The praline of the movie is definitely Gary Oldman's role.
This movie is brilliant! The story is not the discovery of the wheel but it's a well made movie that describes the theory of Radical Constructivism and other philosophical approaches to ordinary people like you and me.
Has anyone ever noticed that Bruce Willis very often plays in movies with handicapped children? He should get an oscar just for this social behaviour! Maybe he fits those roles that good because he impersonates the perfect father and protector? ;)
Darren Aronofsky raised $50.000 from friends and family to produce this black and white movie. Brilliant story, perfectly casted. The same cool gimmicks we find in his later film "Requiem for a dream".
The best role Al Pacino ever played: A blind retired army officer, addicted to alcohol teaches a pupil the principles of life. Brilliant! Exciting, funny and emotional!
