Four Brothers (2005,  R)
Four Brothers
I definitely enjoyed the pace and events in this film. It had my emotions on a rollercoaster ride.
2
Pulp Fiction (1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction
I can't even begin to describe the greatness that is Pulp Fiction. Cinematography, Screenplay, Acting, everything in this film is awesome. You must see this movie. Seriously.
3
Titanic (1997,  PG-13)
Titanic
The greatest romance movie I have ever seen. I was still feeling sad two days after seeing it.
4
Watchmen (2009,  R)
Watchmen
Wow. Even though this movie is a good length, I didn't want it to end! I've read the graphic novel on which it is based so I knew what to expect (extra violence for ya). I loved the entire layout of the film and it has so many layers to it, it's awesome.
5
Transformers (2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
Never thought I would like this movie as much as I did. It was very bad-ass!
6
Twilight (2008,  PG-13)
Twilight
I was completely sucked (no pun intended) into this movie. The chemistry between Kristen & Rob is perfect for Edward and Bella while the other characters give a breath of fresh air. There is a perfect balance between jokes and scenes of drama...if you are second-guessing yourself, go see the film!
7
Into the Wild (2007,  R)
Into the Wild
I thought this movie was extremely striking: sad, yet beautiful. Following Chris/Alex along his journey to, essentially, self-discovery was touching and not to mention deep.
8
The Incredibles (2004,  PG)
The Incredibles
Superpowers are totally awesome, 'nuff said.
9
Finding Nemo (2003,  G)
Finding Nemo
I just loooove Ellen DeGeneres as Dory. Funny and cute, makes me laugh every time.
10
Casino Royale (2006,  PG-13)
Casino Royale
Daniel Craig definitely holds his own as Bond. The movie was packed with action and great moments. Congrats to Martin Campbell on the last line of the movie!
11
Dan in Real Life (2007,  PG-13)
Dan in Real Life
The names associated with this movie are what pushed me to watch it and I'm glad I spent a rainy sunday doing so. A heart-warming film with some great Dane Cook and Steve Carell funny moments.
12
The Bourne Ultimatum (2007,  PG-13)
The Bourne Ultimatum
I love these movies! The third one was too awesome for words!
13
The History Boys (2006,  R)
The History Boys
One of the most sympathizing films for a teacher who goes a bit too far with his students. A lot of characters to work with, and some were a bit more interesting than others, particularly Dakin & Lockwood. Now I want to check out the play, which is a good feeling to be left with.
14
Across the Universe (2007,  PG-13)
Across the Universe
There's just something about this movie that makes it so special.
15
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007,  R)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
It was great to see people who don't sing singing. It's even better that these actors don't go around belting tunes all the time. The setting was dark, as was the storyline, but it made for a great Sweeney Todd film.
16
This Is England (2007,  Unrated)
This Is England
Difficult themes, demanding acting and daring story line. This movie is brilliant.
17
Atonement (2007,  R)
Atonement
Heartbreaking and beautiful. I was blown away by the cinematography.
18
Thirteen Days (2000,  PG-13)
Thirteen Days
Besides the overdone Boston accent, I was drawn into every aspect of this film. Even though the events happened back in 1962, you find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat in anticipation for what will happen next. For history fans or those who like action movies, this is a great choice.
19
Up (2009,  PG)
Up
I have so much respect for Pixar. They've created such wonderful films and Up is definitely in the category of 'wonderful films'. The story covers a range of emotions, bringing you almost to tears while also providing the laughs in great spirits. The characters are so lovable and you find yourself rooting for Russell, Carl, Kevin, Doug and anyone else on their side.
20
The Shining (1980,  R)
The Shining
This is a true scary movie. It messes with your head, just like a King novel. NEVER watch this alone at night. Ever.
21
The Shawshank Redemption (1994,  R)
The Shawshank Redemption
Beautiful and an inspiration. I would think twice about saying 'no' to seeing this movie.
22
Saving Private Ryan (1998,  R)
Saving Private Ryan
An amazing World War II movie. You can see the reality of what it was like landing on Omaha Beach in Normandy (possibly the most intense 15 minutes in film) and trying to defeat the Germans all throughout France. It's a tear-jerker at the end too.
23
Adventureland (2009,  R)
Adventureland
I loved this movie. The setting, the characters, the actors, the story, all of it was brilliant.
