The best of 2007

Another Coen Brothers disturbing motion picture!!!
Really well filmed, great, really great screenplay, suspense and its a stunning achievement in storytelling.
Really violent, funny at times but poetic.
a smart motion picture that deservers to be called a masterpiece.
ps: Javier Bardem, wow! what a performance!!
Here is my vision of the film:
well, in my view this film is about the failure of maxismo. every single character that has the old mentality that says lets kill the dragon and save the princess ends up in failure.
And the only charecters of the film that does not have that mentality ends up ok ( the guy at the gas station,
tommy lee charecter and javier charecter at the end when e asks the kids for help)
No country for old men is not about the josh brolin charecter or about the javier one, its about the tommy lee one cuz he is tired of that old mentality.

How can i express myself after a masterpiece like this one?
How can a motion picture can capture your atention with a story like this one?
Simple, this is a lesson to hollywood about how to direct and write in an original way!
There are miracles cuz director Julian Schnabel and screenwriter Ronald Harwood made one ;)

P.S This one is on my favorite movies list!!

A realy well directed motion picture, well written, great soundtrack and a stuning atmosphere.
Denzel makes (in my opinion) the best performance to date.
Its not a "Godfather", its not a "Scarface" but its realy close! its a black version of both !!

a simple story , with so many things to tell.
screenwriter Steve Knight and Cronenberg have created this great underworld atmosphere so believeble that takes you to the edge of your seet!!

I never tought i would say this, but here it goes-
great remake , an improvement of the original , a western that makes sense.
what can i say about the performaces?well when you have two actors like Christian Bale and Russell Crowe in movie you can only expect great performances!!
this western is more than a bang its a big bang.
