The genre of suspense embodies several distinct modes of storytelling, including the mystery and the thriller. Since the beginning of film, these works have been meticulously planned to effectively jolt and surprise audiences from their sense of comfort. The master was Hitchcock, but film makers still take up the torch and continue to work upon this fundamental and yet essential film style. one of hitchcock's most admired feats, a well-defined and perfectly executed film from nearly every angle, the depicton of true paranoia is at its finest in this film, a staple for any stewart fan, simply thrilling
