Also highly recommended and since I didn't add on to the list are two great ones from Paul Newman....
1. "Slap Shot"-(1977)-probably the greatest sports comedy movie ever made and Newman is hilarious as hell.
2. "The Towering Inferno"-(1974)-This was grand entertainment,but it is the only movie in which Paul Newman and Steve McQueen get star billing in one of the greatest disaster movies of the 1970's.
