TheNarrator's 2006 List

This was the movie that changed my view on foreign films. i entered the theatre expecting a visually entertaining movie and nothing more than that. i was pleasantly surprised that i followed it's plot/story and went along with it's irony, symbolizm, ...(read more)and well-planned and thought out fanatsy land of a fable. truly the charcater's had a great sense of direction as well as emotions and just over-all, physical behavior. this was simply a masterpiece. a film with a genre compared to that of a coin: there are two sides to it.

Revenge: the word the mistakenly defines this film. Even though the main intent displays ?revenge?, it?s just a cover-up for something much greater. I know that this is surely a film that shows how far a man is willing to go to prove their better. The level of foreshadow is left unnoticed. Trust me. By the end, you?ll appreciate it. Which brings me to my next topic, the ending itself. If you haven?t seen it, then I won?t spoil it, but it is an ending that will surprise you. The ending is also ironic.

Wow! This was just too much suspense for me. It's a 2 hour roller coaster ride. The visuals were stunning and the acting was incredible. The story was sheer brilliance. I don't want to give anything away, but I a sure you that the ending will definitely surprise you. This is my favorite Christopher Nolan film and one my all-time favorites.

A powerful, political notion in the motion picture industry. The majority of the dialog is sensational leaving morals and metaphors through out. Within a year, a masked-man who's recognized only by the letter 'V' changes a corrupted civilization, by giving it reclamation. V For Vendetta will give you nothing less than a sering thought of astonishment.

I didn't find much enjoyment out of this the first few times I watched it. about a year later though, watched it again and was just amazed by it. There is a terrific play of words, great use of dialouge, alot more action, skillful manuvers, and many darker elements then the first provided. Hans Zimmer also managed to provide an asortment and of well displayed soundtracks and music. I thought this was a very entertaining movie.
