2 Days in Paris (Deux jours ŕ Paris) (2007, R)
This is a funny film and sometimes is very funny. Maybe the Frenchman and taxi drivers will dont like because the `humor is very sarcastic and impious. But who already was tourist in Paris knows what I am saying. The presence of Julie Delpy as actress and director is a pleasant surprise. The film becomes monotonous sometimes because long dialogues. But you must to see it until the end that is amazing?.even if you are Frenchman! |

A lonely man is a picture of an American hero, trying to resolve situations in your own way, experiencing loneliness, lack of love of family, and full of prejudices about the supposed foreigners in their neighborhood. At first I could almost hate him, but in the end was in love with him. Who? Clint Eastwood playing Walt, who is also the director and if I remember still sings at the end ... The actors who play Sue and Thao interact with a masterful interpretation further increasing the drama of the film. This movie is simple, without sets, great costumes or stars in the cast. It's truly touching and unforgettable. All my admiration and respect and a clao of hands for Clint Eastwood. |
