Fired Up
Average sub-par mediocre teen comedy. Nothing special, but not torture either.
6
Watchmen (2009,  R)
Watchmen
It's harsh to compare movies simply because who's in them or created them; but I'm not the nicest person; this move was no V for Vendetta. The plot is twisted and confusing, I enjoyed what I understood, but I think a second viewing is necessary to fairly judge this one.

I Love You, Man (2009,  R)
I Love You, Man
To say the least - this is no Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Has it's moments but is left with vague points with no jokes even attempted. The plot itself was sort of set up for trouble, but I really have liked Jason Segal from the beginning - hopefully the future holds better for him.

Screw Wolverine, this is the true starter of the blockbuster season this year. Filled with a great plot, action and dialog it's full of win all around.

Bad.
I wish Michael Bay took his time and didn't let this one slip through the cracks to suck so badly.

Where the Wild Things Are
A cute story, displaying the emotions that face kids. Watching this, it made me remember similar feelings when I was growing up - for that it is spectacular. The entire thing was fun and uplifting at times, others faced with a more sad tone. Though I enjoyed it, something felt missing; some depth to the story, instead of keeping most things vague.

Zombieland (2009,  R)

Bad ass.
