1
Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
The Batman movie comic book geeks have dreamed of.
2
American Splendor (2003,  R)
American Splendor
A movie that catches Harvey Pekar's comics perfectly
3
V for Vendetta (2006,  R)
V for Vendetta
Finally Alan Moore's graphic novel gets the big screen treatment it should have. Natalie Portman is terrific in the movie and shows people who chose the crappy star wars movies over modern day masterpieces like Leon, Garden State and Closer that she is the most gifted actress of the generation. Even with a luke warm English accent. However it's Hugo Weaving who does the best acting as V. Even if you don't agree with it's views it still kicks the LXG's ass.
4
Sin City (2005,  R)
Sin City
Not only Robert Rodriguez's best but one of the greatest comic book movies ever
5
X2 (2003,  PG-13)
6
Ghost World (2001,  R)
7
Batman (1989,  PG-13)
Batman
Is this a great film? No. Is it even the best of of pre Nolan Batman movie? Hell no (That would be Batman Returns for my money.) but all and all it's a fun film.
I should start by pointing to the biggest problem with this movie. As much as it hurts me to say this but the biggest problem here is director Tim Burton. As much as I love about 90% of his movies and God bless him tries his best to make the film work he just couldn't give a f*ck about Batman and the all the performances although most of them are good aren't really right for a story like Batman. As a average summer blockbuster it works but as a Batman movie falls felt on its face.
8
Spider-Man 2 (2004,  PG-13)
9
The Crow (1994,  R)
The Crow
Another movie that belongs to a group of films that should have never been so many sequals to. This movie is a excellient if flawed mixture of graphic novel looksand interesting charecters. It can seem dull and whinning and times but you never stop rooting for the lead. That has to say something.
10
Hellboy (2004,  PG-13)
Hellboy
A great film, with a perfectly casted Ron Peralman
