Do the Right Thing (1989, R)
great film from spike lee, his best, a very hot day and racial tensions that arise throughout, especially between sal, his two sons, and the pizza place they own in a black neighbourhood, we follow mook, played here by spike lee, as he works for sal, and living hids day on the street. nice direction throughout, showing great style for lee, a film that helped black cinema from the 80s into the 90s, with a lot of moral, racial issues brought up throughout |
